I propose that after a seller in the market / points market / auction has sold an item, they get 5 seconds of immunity--and it doesn't have to stack. It can be just from the player who bought from them, if that's preferred--like a very very temporary New Player Leaf, just to give the seller a fighting chance instead of letting them be exposed to camping and immediate mugging by the player who bought from them.
This is necessary, because buymugging keeps happening to the point where sellers are not safe buying and selling donator packs or points, which is important to Torn's economy not just in game, but is Part of how they financially stay afloat.
It obviously would benefit Torn and its team if newer players don't have to be as afraid of buying and selling their two main ticket items.
Please seriously consider this. As a newer player, I do not like buying and selling donator packs or points because I cannot trust anyone. I am not the only one.
And being forced to use a third party site to find someone who won't mug me to sell to messes with the intended experience on here.
Addendum: And, please don't just dismiss this with "you can list on the market anonymously" because that isn't even an option on the points market, so it's just open season on any remotely vulnerable players over there. If nothing else, at least add the option to sell points anonymously, but it doesn't solve the problem.
I'm trying to add the screenshot I took, but it's not letting me for some reason--one issue at a time though--
I'm at level 55 in arson. I threw a canister of gasoline on one fire I needed at 70 or above. It says I was successful, but nothing happened. No percentage increase. I think the same thing may have happened to the other accelerant I added. Thermite. Because the fire was still rising from the previous gasoline I added, just slower than expected, and it ground to a halt slowly after the thermite.
Like the title says. I was in the hospital for 10+ minutes of radiation sickness, had joined a race prior to getting poisoned, I was down to about 2 minutes of hospital time--no problem.
Except when the car crashed, it upped my hospital time to over 10 hours, so now I'm trapped in the hospital because I don't have a neumune tablet and this definitely seems incorrect. I should be hospitalized, by this point, for the car crash--not the sickness.
Even if I did have a tablet, I'd be a little sore over this apparent bug, because I wanted the radiation sickness without being trapped--I was going to fill some blood bags, which I can't do until I'm out of the hospital, and by the time I'm allowed out (since first aid and morphine don't work on radiation patients), my radiation sickness will have long passed--ironically, even though it'll keep me in insisting I'm still sick--which means no blood bags.
UPDATE: Holy shit, it gets WORSE. A faction member took pity on me, sent me a neumune tablet, it cured my radiation sickness STATUS icon--but I'm still stuck in the hospital and can't use any medical items to leave because it says I'm still sick with radiation poisoning even though no, no I'm not. I don't even know if I can take another tablet, but given the status itself is gone, I doubt it, even though the hospital won't let me do anything else.
This is ruining one of my training days with a gym book. Devastating. :/
Well, lesson learned I guess, kiddies. Never race when you're sick or theoretically possibly about to be, because you'll get screwed.
"Already on its way down"? Could you elaborate? Because as I said, I'm at level 55, and gasoline has never failed to add _any_ percentage increase at all when added at this stage of a fire before.

^ Nope, I was only at 52 at the time.

According to the wiki page on neumune tablets, you can shoplift them from the pharmacy. According to the pharmacy part of the shoplifting page, no, you can't--it's not among any of the items possible.

I've been trying to figure this out for about a month now and this is the only thread I've found, and all I can assume is that everyone has lost their damn minds, because the price is upwards of 300k for a single unit and it takes FIVE to dissolve a body, so you'll spend over 1.5 million, for a payout of 150k if you're lucky.
... So aside from the one time merit, this is less than worthless. It's actively harmful to your bottom line. It's just bad. Torn devs need to put it back in the pharmacy store again or have some other shop sell it in another country or something, the economy needs fixing.
