Hello all, today marks my 1 year anniversary in Torn! I've made a lot of friends, met a lot of people, and hit/surpassed many goals I didn't think I was capable of. I'll be giving away some random items to people who comment, and better rewards to anyone who shares their own experiences and encounters with me (be nice please)
I'll start out by saying, I know I could be much farther along, but I've chosen to help the people around me at the cost of some progression. I also have lost a lot to RR unfortunately 😅 but hey we all have our habits and have to learn the hard way sometimes. Let's get into my statistics:
Made some enemies due to RR wins, others from being a delinquent
You can see where I won a Private Island on the Million Wheel Spin and almost immediately started RW trading with the huge spikes in NW lol.
I want to shout out some friends and people that have helped me throughout my journey (you can skip this part if you want I know it's a lot lmfao).
Shoutouts to Papiontoppy and Starlord for being the first traders I sold my items to, giving me guidance, and paying me for losses at the start, Zentiq for getting me into 39th Reapers during Halloween time giving me a great first experience in a big faction and for giving me my first 99k jump (the council was amazing for doing this for me and I appreciate you guys so much you have no idea), TangoJordan for showing me how to setup Torn Exchange and getting me into trading (dude I've made so much money trading because of you thank you), Guillaume0823 for giving me and my spouse a good faction experience with awesome people and the rest of our management team giving us a good place to help teach others and work together to grow and learn in this game and set up new players for success, Jrock for getting me into Toxic Reign and helping me boost my stats and meet more cool people and more connections with trading big items, Rakajaka, ViciouslyGrim, SirIcyDragon, and TheCulturedOne for having me be apart of the Black Market Mall Discord and teaching me a ton making big money moves, helping me stay motivated. You guys have pushed me to continue trading at higher volumes and constantly get better with what I do. And of course saving the best for last, I'd like to shout out my Spouse MrFlippyCakes for helping coordinate attacks during wars and helping us grow together irl and on the game and putting up with the stupid decisions I make here and there.
Now that we got that out of the way, share an experience you've had with me to win a random prize. Could be a bottle of lube, candy, Xanax, E Dvd, or maybe even an FHC if I like you enough 😁. I won't pretend I haven't been a villain to some of you, and an absolute menace during war at times, but hey it's a game and I get really competitive and defensive lol
Thank you guys for all that you do! I had a revive from MacQuinn and it was very much appreciated. You guys make this game so much better. I already had been stressing today about being mugged so many times and continuously targeted, and just gave up using morphine to get myself out. Logged back in to see MacQuinn get me out and on my feet again. Definitely changed my mood around and put a smile on my face. Thank you guys
Semi new player, I've unlocked museum recently (I know I should've waited to finish other courses but, money lol), I'm looking around on bazaars and market to find artifacts and do math to see conversion of profit for turning them in and selling for points, vs selling the items themselves and notice, it's all loss??? So I'm guessing the only point of the museum is for Flushies exchange otherwise we are throwing money away or investing and waiting until museum day to make money on these items? Anyone else have advice concerning this? Am I overlooking anything? It just makes no sense to me that you'd buy medieval coins just to lose half a million dollars, and up to Egyptian amulet where you'd lose up to like 700M? I must be wrong but why do the artifacts even exist at this point if only the player who stumbles on them benefits
Heck yeah man I'm just a bit over a year old and it looks awesome to see where I could potentially be in another 3 years with hard work (and a lot of money). Great stat gain man! Congrats on your 4th year, I hope it's full of fun end exciting things
I highly recommend buying from Raviloli, he's a genuine good guy and good prices. It's a shame we have some weirdo trying to damage his reputation by paying newbies to add him to enemy list (looking at you Lito 👀) if you ask REAL TRADERS about Raviloli, they almost certainly have traded with him at some point and had an exceptional experience
I appreciate this reply because tbh I compare myself a lot to others and I do get slightly discouraged seeing some people way ahead of me in stats and less than a year old because they're able to spend more irl money, or stayed in a huge faction for their whole career or whatever it may be. On the other hand, I've passed a lot of my enemies in stats and know plenty of people with older accounts or around the same as mine with significantly lower stats so I feel pretty decent about where I'm at for the most part
Man it's about time for another giveaway in the discord too. I've loved being apart of the faction, helping everyone out makes the game more fun for me, especially seeing everyone grow and getting bigger stats

I honestly didn't even think it was possible to make Billions of dollars in the first year of playing lol let alone seeing the TBS grow that high. I remember early on when I started playing, seeing your cans on the market and seeing your age and being so confused how you even had that many stacks of items when I was still struggling to get to 100M NW. Having friends definitely helps, but you did a lot of this work on your own being well informed on the state of the market and just overall knowledge. I strive to be as successful one day, but also, I play too many games to keep my ass on Torn trading at that volume lol. Congrats man
Man I can't imagine someone spending 50 Billion dollars for a DB and using it on a low respect normal faction hahaha. At least you're immortalized in DB history now. Dude should've hit someone bigger tho
