The other day, I logged onto Torn to find that a comic of mine was recently accepted. This was especially interesting to me considering I hadn't made a new comic in over half a year.
Now I'm of course not complaining, I've already added it to my profile signature to make up for my lack of actual meaningful accomplishments. I'm more so interested in why they decided to return to my comic after ignoring it for so long. Just for fun, I decided to see when I'd actually submitted this particular comic, which turned out to be over a year ago.
Part of me wonders if this has anything to do with the recent posts surrounding the use of AI in comics, considering how very obviously hand-drawn my comics are? Either way, I'm glad to know staff team actually still looks at comic submissions.
Anyways, from the looks of my log screenshot I still have one comic submission that has yet to be reviewed, so if that can be taken care of as well that'd be greatly appreciated :)
looks like torn is currently cracking down on off-site raffles and lotteries, which i believe this would fall under. how do you plan on going about this rule change? if the site does get shut down, will you be giving out refunds?
