recently received the following message:
“Hi there, I am helping new players make money! I will pay you $25,000 for every attack you make on me! All you have to do is click this link: (I’ve removed link and player name)”
I presume this is a scam, as they could’ve sent me some money without attacks. But what is their hustle? Why would someone want a noob to attack them?

Interesting, I’m sure it must be horrible to get mugged, revived, mugged in a loop whilst being farmed… I’m not a worthy target yet but I’ll change it to ‘nobody’ so I don’t go through that treatment.

Hey guys, apologies for noob question and if it’s in the wrong place (let me know if there’s a more suitable spot for future questions ). EDIT - Post now moved and I know where to put future questions.
just ended up in hospital and pressed a few buttons. One changed the permissions on who is able to revive me. I think I’ve set it back to fully open ( anyone can revive ), but I’m not 100%.
what is the benefit to not being revived? It seems odd there’s an option that prevents strangers from doing it.…

eager new player, work full time and have partner so generally 5x20min sessions plus maybe a few hours each night depending on rl.
2nd day but get the gist and have played marathon games for years. Each game has its quirks and the depth of torn ( do you still read it as Tom? ) makes it seem like if you’re not in the know and playing deep, then you’re wasting your time.
don’t have pc and spreadsheets etc so not going to be number crunching, but happy to get involved and contribute somewhere if I can learn and gain from it. Don’t truly know what direction to take, but tempted to get into the tech/fraud/hack side of things, but I’m still a bag boy at the grocers so…
guides ( the one you use for reference, not just the hand-holding intro ) would be helpful and anyone who’s been around the city a few times and has a bit of spare time to help out would be genuinely appreciated. Can’t reply always and can’t guarantee I’ll be able to hit small faction war windows etc, so I’m not ideal, but will cooperate as best as possible.

Does all artwork feature the artist names in the final piece? As example, ROFL has contributed to many pieces, and the word/name ROFL is on the artwork. Will the purchased piece have this present or removed?
