seriously like it's not a end of the world problem obviously but as an artist myself it's kind of infuriating to see doing literally anything lmfao
edit: obviously i know it's inevitable to see people using AI. that's not my point. just that as an artist who appreciates human made works made by people who actually care enough to do things themselves and don't rely on ChatGPT to function it's a little irritating to see so so many people using AI with all the unethical parts about it. i get just using it as a tool but even so it's terrible for the environment with how much energy and water it uses up

genuinely every single AI generated image i've seen has looked ugly as shit especially the "ghibli ai" thing lmfao. soulless and hideous
i agree that people deserve art and i get your point about not being to afford it but at least in my opinion that's WHY i learned to draw lol. obviously not for torn specifically but it's not like you can only learn to draw if you've gotten gods blessing you just need to try and keep trying. and if you can't bother to put in the work to learn to draw then just use existing art (so long as the artist is okay with their art being used & if you credit somewhere; maybe edit in their @ into the image or something) if you can't afford something custom
