Your $X MOUZ(2-Way Full event) bet on MOUZ v Virtus.pro has been voided due to an invalid odds supplied by the provider and thus refunded. Since you have already collected it, $Y was taken from your account. You can now collect it from the Bookie page. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The recent issuse caused in handling of the MOUZ vs. Virtus.pro bookie market, the subsequent reversal of payouts, and the negative impact it has had on many players.
My previous post - was a simple query about a visual bug, but this situation has evolved into a serious issue that needs to be addressed.
The Core Problem Timeline 1.The CS2 match between MOUZ and VP had its odds displayed profitable . MOUZ, the clear favorite, was listed with much higher odds, while VP had lower odds. 2.There was a window for these odds to be corrected or for the market to be voided before settlement. This did not happen even before the payout . 3. The match concluded, MOUZ won, and the bookmaker paid out the winnings to players based on the incorrect, displayed odds. For many, this was a huge, win. 4. Approximately 20 hours after the payout, the decision was reversed. Winnings which were clawed back from bookie page to wallet and for those who had already spent or moved the money, their account was forced into a negative balance.
The fundamental issue is this: reversing a settled and paid-out market after such a long delay is unacceptable. Once money hits a player's account and they begin using it, the bookie's chance to cry "error" should be over.
Issues
1 . Many players treat high-confidence bets as serious investments. People took out loans from other players to maximize their stake, planning to pay it back immediately with the winnings. 2. Corporations who manage finance such as - Bumbi who had paid out the gains will stay in negative .
Pattern
1. We've seen issues before, like the cricket match where a completely wrong result was initially posted and later corrected. 13:15:06 - 10/08/25 You lost your $500,000 (x1.44) bet in the Bookie on Australia (2-Way Full event) bet on Australia v South Africa (Cricket)
3. The "x0.00" odds display bug, which I originally reported, is visible on multiple other CS2 matches right now. This suggests the data feed or the system processing it is prone to errors that aren't being caught proactively.
Examples ( a very few out of actual - 3 in every 100 )
4794443 MOUZ The MongolZ 0 0 MOUZ 4784778 BetBoom Team Nemiga Gaming 0 0 BetBoom Team 4784779 TyLoo NRG Esports 0 0 NRG Esports
Solution 1. Honor the Payout The bookie made the mistake and then validated it by paying out. The most ethical solution is to revert the reversal and let the original payouts stand. The house must absorb its own error.
2. Pay Correct Odds
If you are not honoring the full payout. A compromise would be to refund players based on the actual expected odds (around 1.2x - 1.23x). While this is still unfair to players who bet based on the promise of higher returns, it's far better than a total void.
3.Case-by-Case Review
At the very least, there must be a review for each player case who have been forced into a negative balance. Some may have taken loans and are now in massive debt through no fault of their own. A simple void doesn't fix the damage done.
4. A Better Negative Balance System
If a revert back is ever deemed absolutely necessary, it should not immediately slash a player's account. It wasn't their fault !
Instead, apply the negative balance as a "debt" to the bookie itself. The player can continue to play the game, but the next bet they win will first go towards paying off that debt.
This is a much less destructive mechanic than what was done .
Mouz did win it but the issue is with odds showing x0.00
Edit post Bug Fix :
There are multiple other instances (close to 5 in 100) on the bookie page ( Just for CS2 ). Here are a few examples I have :
(Event ID) (T1 vs T2 ) (Bet 1 Bet 2) ( Winning Team ) 4794443 MOUZ v The MongolZ x0 x0 Winner :MOUZ
4784778 BetBoom v Team Nemiga Gaming x0 x0 Winner:BetBoom Team
4784779 TyLoo v NRG Esports x0 x0 Winner :NRG Esports
With that being said I stand with everyone who believes these bets should have been honored, consistent with past actions. I hope the staff can see the damage this inconsistency causes and re-evaluates how they handle these situations in the future for the health of the game.
For the others : To be perfectly clear - I reported what I believed to be a visual bug. My intention was never to have legitimate winning bets reversed or for anyone to lose their winnings. I saw multiple odds at x0.00 and thought it was a display error that needed fixing for the future . The outcome that unfolded is not what I wanted, and I sincerely apologize for the negative impact this has had on everyone who rightfully bet on MOUZ.
Track exactly when your target is going to land . Change the method depending upon what you suspect the target may be using (Standard , Airstrip , WLT , Buisness )
I wanted to track when the 1M$ bounty landed so I built one easy solution .... ( also the guy who mugged me I'm getting my money back )
Features 1. Live Flight Tracking: See up-to-date status, destinations, and landing times 2. Countdown: A "Time Left" column automatically counts down to landing . 3. Travel Methods: Manually change a target's travel method (Airstrip, WLT, etc.) from a dropdown to instantly see how it affects their landing time. 4. Smart Defaults: Automatically sets the travel method to "Airstrip" for new targets who own a Private Island. ( In future will add the Lingerie Store too ) 5. Faction Importer: In a war ? Add all of them to Target list with just the Faction ID
How to Get Started (2 Minutes) 1 .Go to Google Sheet Travel Time Stalker to make your own private copy. You will be prompted to "Make a copy" immediately. 2. Set Your API Key : After your new sheet loads, a custom "Tracker" menu will appear at the top (it might take a moment). Tracker > Set API Key 3. Add Your Targets
Manually: Type or paste user IDs into the "Target ID" column.
By Faction: Click Tracker > Add Members from Faction and enter a faction's ID.
It updates every minute , u can go to Targets > Update all Targets now to update it instantly
How It Works
This tool runs on Google Apps Script, which is a server-side JavaScript environment that's built into every Google Sheet.
A time-driven trigger runs your private script every minute.
The script works by checking the status of target every minute , once we see target flying we note down the time and calculate .
The script calls the Torn API to fetch the latest data for your targets.
The live countdown is a simple spreadsheet formula that updates automatically.
FAQ
Is my API Key safe? Yes. It is stored in Script Properties, which are private to your specific copy of the sheet and not visible in any cell. No one, not even me, can see your key.
The countdown doesn't update every second. Is it broken? No, this is normal for Google Sheets. The NOW() formula refreshes about once per minute, not every second.
Can I change the update frequency? Yes. In your sheet, go to Extensions > Apps Script, then click the Triggers (⏰) icon. You can edit the existing trigger and change the interval from 5 minutes to whatever you prefer.
Why is the ETA wrong for a target I just added while they were already traveling?
This is expected behavior. The script can only calculate the landing time accurately when it sees a target depart.
If you add a target who is already in the air, the script knows they are traveling, but it doesn't know their departure time. The travel times and countdown for that target will become accurate after they land and depart for their next flight.
Rules Question: Are Automated API Polling (Cron Jobs) for Strategic Info Allowed?
My idea is to have a script that automatically calls the Torn API for me, perhaps once every 2 minutes. This script would run 24/7 on a server, even when I'm offline. The technical term for this kind of scheduled task is a cron job.
The sole purpose of this script would be to read data from the API .
Is This Permitted?
I've read the Torn Game Rules, specifically regarding "Cheating, exploiting & scripting." The rule states:
"The use of scripts, extensions, applications or any other kind of software is allowed only if it uses data from our API or a page you have loaded manually and are currently viewing. They cannot make additional non-API requests to Torn, scrape pages that you're not currently viewing, or attempt to bypass the captcha. If the software you're using makes non-API requests that are not manually triggered by you, it is not allowed and can be tracked. "
Based on that rule, it seems like my plan is allowed.
This is the gray area I need help with. Does the automated, systematic collection of other users' status data ("Okay" to "Traveling," or "Okay" to "In hospital") for the express purpose of timing strategic actions cross a line? Is this considered a fair and intended use of the API, or does it go against the spirit of the rules by creating an unfair advantage through scripting?
With the dominant win of RCB yesterday against GT in Q1 . Eliminators SRH vs RR . I think SRH might win , cuz if vaibhav doesn't work its over for RR . Q2 will be GT vs ?? ( might be GT vs SRH )
Finals RCB vs ?? ( maybe SRH ) . RCB back to back ?
I am a biased because of their superior batting lineup .
Whichever team lifts the trophy , its gonna be their 2nd one .
