Data Security & Encryption

Your Torn API key is encrypted with AES-GCM using a SHA-256 derived key. We never store plaintext keys. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Session tokens use HttpOnly cookies with SameSite=None; Secure.

Faction data is strictly siloed — you only see members and data from your own faction.

FF Scouter V2

Instant data extraction

• Reads FF Scouter V2's IndexedDB cache directly - zero extra API calls, zero rate limit impact. If FF Scouter has already scanned the page, the data is ready in under a second. 

Discord-ready output

• Formats the full list as "Name : Estimated BS (FF x.xx)" - one hit of the copy button puts it on your clipboard, ready to paste into any channel or DM.

Sort options

• Sort by Battle Stats high to low, low to high, Fair Fight value, or alphabetically. Useful for targeting priority — sort by BS descending to see the heaviest hitters at a glance.

FF toggle

• Toggle Fair Fight values in or out of the copied output. Keep them in for leadership briefings, strip them out if you just need a clean stat list for a spreadsheet or quick share.

How to use it:

1. Navigate to the enemy faction's members page on Torn. (URL: torn.com/factions.php?step=profile&ID=...)

2. Let FF Scouter V2 populate, wait for the FF column to appear on member rows (pretty instant). This fills the local cache the exporter reads from.

3. Click the ⚔ BS EXPORT tab on the right edge of the screen to open the panel.

4. Hit  Refresh, choose your sort order, toggle FF on or off, then hit ⎘ Copy.

5. Paste into Discord. Done. The panel also shows member count, how many have data, and how many are missing.

Requirements

• Requires- FF Scouter V2 installed and active, this script reads its cache, it does not fetch data independently

• API key - None required, all data comes from FF Scouter's existing cache

• Page - Only activates on factions.php,  won't interfere with anything else

• Browser - Any browser with Tampermonkey should work. 

• PDA - Technically should work with PDA but the interface is a work in progress.

This is a companion to FF Scouter V2, not a replacement. Full credit to the FF Scouter team for the underlying data - this script just makes it shareable in one click.

This is really for factions with a mix of players where many don't use scripts like FFScouter or BSP.

A lot of the settings are locked behind the Faction Admin panel which is only visible to the Leader/Co-Leader but they can delegate permissions in their Accounts page. 

Minor script UI update with V3.3.2 of the script. 

This is mainly a UI update. Most of which is displayed in the gif. The initial goal was to reduce the number of headers on the war page (All, Targets, Hospital, Ok, Online, Offline, etc..).

Usability updates:

• Polls are now more condensed with the ability to show or hide all the voters to save screen space. This feature is more important on mobile where screen real estate is valuable. 
• War tab overflow menus for the 'All' button that contain all the filters to filter your war target by.
• When you select offline now you can set a last active threshold. 
• Overflow menu for the war modes to save screen real estate.
• If the script window is narrow the main headers become an overflow menu. This will be crucial as the script expands features.
• Quicker response times when making selections.
• You can also now move the collapsed icon anywhere you prefer.

Feature Addition:

• Blood bag notifications. When the script is collapsed a blood drop icon will appear in the collapsed version of the script denoting that you can make two or more blood bags. Notifications will not show up when in war. (not featured in the gif bc I'm in war.)

A cool feature about the automatic war participation poll. You can configure it such that Yes voters are automatically assigned a Discord role and channel for war. This in turn helps reduce notification fatigue on members by making it so that only participants are getting your updates and this includes War mode updates (push/farm/turtle).

The Companion scrip currently has five main features/pages/tabs with more to come: 

News:

• Faction leaders can post News posts or Polls that are instantly viewable by all other members with the script. 
• New posts are instantly visible to all member even with the script collapsed via a red blinking dot notification.
• War participation poll is instantly deployed when a Ranked war match up occurs. Users that say 'Yes' can be assigned a War role in Discord automatically allowing them to receive updates like Push/Farm/Turtle in Discord. 

War:

• Easily see a list of your enemies. Filter enemies by their status (online/offline, last active x minutes ago, Hospital, Ok, traveling)
• See Fair Fight values and total Battle stats of each enemy so you know what you're up against. 
• Hot links to Attack, View profile, Claim (dibs) or add to target list. 
• Dibs system where any faction member can claim an enemy. Claimed enemies go into the Queue tab viewable by all members in order of when they were claimed. Easily unclaim members you don't want to hit as well.

Chain:

• Quickly find a list of up to 25 targets within you Fair Fight filtered range. Add them to your targets list or just rely on the generated list.
• Watchers list where users can mark that they're actively watching the chain or reserve a block of time that they will be watching. See exactly who is watching the chain so the chain doesn't break. Built in Queue system for longer more organized chainers.
• List of all members participating in the chain along with the number of hits they've made.
• Customizable audio and visual alerts set to your preferred time thresholds.
• Automated suggestion on who should get the Carnage, Massacre, Genocide hit based on who still needs the merit and contributed the most to the current chain.
• Live Chain timer with the script open and collapsed so you can easily see how much time is left no matter what Torn screen you're on.

Retaliations:

• Retaliations tab showing available retaliations. Who the target is, a hotlink to their attack page, remaining time, Battle Stats and Fair Fight value
• Tied directly to the Discord retaliations bot so when the retaliation is completed and verified the Discord bot automatically updates its message to reflect the retaliation window is closed. 
  
  

Banking

• Any member can now make banking withdrawal requests through the script.
• Requests are sent to the Discord bot to post a notice to bankers in the banking channel that X user requested $Y amount of funds. 
• Fulfilled withdrawals are automatically verified and posted in the factions private channel as an audit log. 
• Easily cancel requests your open requests from the script as well.

One noob question at a time. Like for reals, i make basic guides in different formats and post them in my faction discord and forum and link it to them if their question relates but also give them written advice in the same response.

What would you consider too many API calls? Asking because i'm building a tool and am going to integrate a similar tool to Emforus' tool but it would be used for all members eligible for an OC by potentially dozens of factions which could lead to hundreds of API calls per minute.

So for context, my script that i briefly discussed with a mod was to auto-add and auto-price your bazaar based on your TornExchange listings with a set % profit margin the user would set. Script worked great but I needed the script to auto-scroll the page similar to yours, I even added a 250ms delay per scroll so it didn't seem as botty.  (demo video)

Their comment was "Hi, I have a queue for script reviews atm but I'll add you to my list. Auto-scrolling would indeed be illegal though as it's triggering additional non-API requests to Torn. You would need to tell people to either manually scroll to the bottom or something like add a button that scrolls 1 page at a time."

Do with that info as you wish. You can get in touch with them on the Discord but with how everyone is vibe coding and most don't have a strong understanding of what their code is actually doing the mods are inundated with scripts to review. Their solution of adding a button to scroll to the next page block is probably the easiest workaround. 

Works as advertised and super useful but is it really legal?  Everytime the script scrolls to the next block of items it makes a call to the servers and because it's being automated I don't think it's exactly legal. At least that was my impression when talking about a script I was making with one of the mods. 

No, they remain in that job category if you return to that job sector.
Say you have 200 points in a candy store but leave for the Army. When you return those Candy shop points should still be there.

Goated, this got me three eggs when the egg Hunter scripts got me nothing. Maybe coincidence but maybe not!

Okay that's what I thought too and it's likely why you have to have it on a website with a database.
