I was part of this faction — the name doesn’t really matter anymore — and one day, I was suddenly kicked out. The leader claimed it was because I hadn’t joined Torn Stats or something, but I had. I followed the instructions. I did everything I was supposed to. Still, he just kept saying he couldn’t see me there.
What makes this harder is that just a day before all this, I had updated my profile with my real Muslim name and my Asian country of origin. And now, I can’t help but wonder if that was the real reason I was removed — if the excuse about the stats was just a convenient cover. Maybe I’m wrong. But the timing makes it hard not to think otherwise.
What hurts the most is that this was my first time being genuinely invested in something digital — in a game world like Torn. I put my time, my interest, even a little piece of myself into it. I thought maybe, just maybe, the gaming world would be a cleaner space — less judgmental, more about fun than real-world bias. But I guess I was wrong.
I didn’t expect to feel this disappointed. But I do. And I wish it didn’t feel so personal, even if no one will admit that it is.
I’m sorry to unload all this — I just really needed to say it out loud. And I apologise if it made anyone feel uncomfortable. That wasn’t my intention.

I was surprised to find this message and a loan of 12K with the loan sharks. But I had never taken out a loan. So why was I charged? What could have caused it?
