Okay, this makes sense! 

Makes me think the algorithm is still tapped though. We've fallen in rank since yesterday, and the faction we just beat this morning are 24 places ahead of us in today's rank 😭😂 (already in gold 1 from gold 3) 

If it's done on an overall win rate, is there a cap on how far back in the history it checks? We merged with another faction not an awfully long time ago only a few weeks after they bought this faction, so the distant history hasn't got anything to do with us.

Would be nice to know we arent saddled with someone else's baggage if the history check only goes back a reasonable length of time.

I imagine this will effect the price of faction shells quite a lot too if history has to be accounted for

We have had this as one of our conclusions too. We've upped our giveaway rate to try boost along the lower stat members of the faction too now. Happy jump kits flying about left right and centre atm 😂

We shall endeavour to continue stomping our way forwards then 😂

Thanks! I sort of thought something like that, but not ranking up after beating someone 2 ranks above us off the back of 3 wins in a row (and they ranked down 2 ranks) sort of feels like we've been left behind and forgotten in this new ranking system.

Im not sure if this is the right spot to put this, but i just wanted to point this out in a setting outside of own faction 

We have warred twice since the new ranked war system and won both with pretty minimal resistance. Are we not ranking up because the algorithm sees both as termed? The first war was against someone else in gold 1. They did at least attempt to fight back

The won we just won we dominated hard against a faction 2 ranks above us from gold 3. Resistance was maybe attempted, but the war was over well before they even woke up

08:02:20 - 28/08/26 Praetorian remained at Gold I and received 7,825 bonus respect, 5x Armor Cache, 2x Medium Arms Cache, 1x Melee Cache 

When the ranked war system was reshuffled, we were demoted from plat 2 to gold 1. If how well the opponent fights is part of the new algorithm, I feel like it might be some time until we will actually rank up. 

14:00:09 - 09/08/26 Praetorian ranked up from Platinum I to Platinum II and received 12,742 bonus respect, 4x Armor Cache, 4x Medium Arms Cache, 6x Melee Cache, 4x Small Arms Cache 

12:00:28 - 11/08/26 Praetorian has been reassessed as a Gold I division faction due to current rating

Also minding the reduction in Cache rewards, but that is a bit of a side note here.

Thats absolutely diabolical, and yes it absolutely works 😂 maybe only for items you can get from that location though 🤔  receive crocus in hawaii = yes. Receive med kit in hawaii = no
