Tom Lehrer's music has often made me laugh when I have most needed it. He was my first introduction into satirical music. He will be greatly missed.

I'm not surprised this one hasn't been mentioned but Dysmantle is a great zombie ("ex-human") game.
I've also played all the main line Resident Evil games, the first Dying Light, Days Gone, State of Decay 2 (might need to get a new Xbox just for that again), Plants vs Zombies 1 and 2, Dead Island (all of them), the Dead Rising games, Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, CoD: Zombies, Left for Dead, and probably a few more I can't think of. What can I say, zombie games tend to kick ass!
Today I found myself replaying an absolute favorite of mine which I have 100 percented far too many times - Lego Harry Potter. I also started playing Bramble The Mountain King.
I think one of my all-time favorite indie games is Outer Wilds. It is a game you can only truly experience once as the entire enjoyment (and frustration) of the game comes from exploration and learning what happened along the way. I would definitely recommend playing the DLC as well after you finish the main game. I don't know if an Outer Wilds 2 would ever be possible but if they ever made one, I would be buying that day one (which is not something I do).
Outside of that, I also really loved the classics like Stardew Valley, Undertale, and Dredge. Also, even though I have never beaten it, I also really enjoy replaying Hollow Knight every year or so because I am delusional enough to believe that one day I will suddenly get better at those kinds of boss fights.
I think The Martian is one of those films that stuck with me. Not just as a film but as a story as a whole, including the book/audiobook.
It's one of those films that reminds me just how small we are and how much could be out there, just waiting for us to reach out and grab hold, to explore and learn. I also love that reminder of just HOW resilient humans are. Even alone on Mars, a human survives against all the odds.
