What you suggest reminds me of those activist shareholders that successfully altered Southwest Airlines, scrapping the Bags Fly Free program, trashing the boarding groups and introducing assigned seating, and slipping in a "basic economy" ticket that earns no mileage.

I'll only predict what happens in the US, for it's all im qualified to predict:

1. In the not-to-distant future, Trump will slip that he was targeting Smartmatic with the assault on Venezuela, and will claim Maduro played a role in "stealing" the 2020 election from him.
2. Chuck Schumer will step down as Senate minority leader as a crop of younger Democrats, increasingly of the AOC/ Sanders/Mamdani mold, openly rebel against the more-mainline wing. Cory Booker will take his place after some squabbling.
3. Marjorie Taylor Greene will land a contributor role on CNN as a frequent Trump critic, but her stint will be short-lived as she will inevitably say something antisemitic.
4. JD Vance's rite of passage to the Resolute Desk will be disrupted as Donald Trump Jr. announces his bid to succeed his father.
5. Everything I said will be wrong and I'll go back to mugging people on Torn instead of pursuing a future as a competitor to Nate Silver.
