I quit this game at least 3 times. It just lost interest for me. Grinding in the gym for modest gains gets stale. The time commitment of warring was too much. But... I would occasionally login to collect my bank profits. But stocks, properties or other items. Once free refills got introduced I would come back for a week play around and get board again and quit.
What really roped me in was Crimes 2.0. I was so tired of just doing warehouse burnings I felt this was just a massively underdeveloped portion of the game. A crime based RPG without a well thought out crime system. But I love the new crimes system so far. I'm excited to see where it goes. Plus even as a non-regular you start seeing fruits of the years you put into this game.
Now I consider myself back full time. Training with most my my E daily. Taking xanax, chaining and the works. I discovered the joys of merit hunting as well.
Would love to hear from other quitters and why you came back.
With all the new taxes we are paying - 5% on item sales and 10% for anonymous listings do we at least get a income slip at the end of the year to file our taxes to see if we can get some money back?

Torn has been around long enough that people who started playing in high school or college are now married, have carriers, children, etc. Most long time factions have a few fallen players in their ranks they keep in memory as well.
I guess average age is at least 40 at this point.
Epic - The songs that will be sung about this war will be legendary.
On a personal note I look forward to getting some sleep once this is over.

I mean that amount is peanuts in this game. It sucks this happened but learn your lesson and move on. People lose more than that everyday in the casino.

But why do some users have blue or white? Is this a setting or is there something you have to do to trigger this?
Would be very useful to have OC status shown on faction information page besides each member.
My suggestion a column with the header: OC Status
A little circle with the following color options:
Green = Enrolled in active crime
Yellow = Enrolled in planning stage
Reg= Not enrolled
