Choosing What to Study First
Many players recommend starting with Sport Science, and that’s not a bad advise at all. However, if you’re job-focused and aiming for LONG-TERM benefits from career perks (like those from Medical, Law, or Education), then General Studies is actually the smarter first choice.
One of benefits, General Studies gives you for example the ability to drive, meaning you can participate in OCs where driving is required, which helps your faction too.
This list is best to use if you are focusing on education merits as it is ordered for this style rather than the duration of the courses. But I also wrote the duration and some exceptions so you can ajust it to your liking.
Here’s a list of all university courses and their durations in days without any education merits (base + bachelor):
1. General Studies – 196 (154 + 42)
2. Sport Science – 196 (154 + 42)
3. Self Defense – 154 (119 + 35)
4. Health & Fitness – 161 (126 + 35)
5. Combat Training – 182 (133 + 49)
6. History – 175 (133 + 42)
7. Biology – 217 (182 + 35)
8. Psychology – 175 (126 + 49)
9. Law* – 266 (224 + 42)
10. Mathematics – 245 (203 + 42)
11. Computer Science – 259 (210 + 49)
12. Business** – 259 (224 + 35)
* potentially unlock some perks earlier if you need the benefit, but overall this course is quite long so I listed it on such low position
** not essential before owning an company (in my opinion)
