I've built the whole thing to be as automated as possible!
HOW IT WORKS
• 4, 8 or 16-player tournaments
• 36 hours to complete each round
• Random matchups
• Automated payment checking
• Automated result checking
• Personal Player Portal
• Unique payment reference for every entry
• One shot per round - no sneaky double/triple dipping!
ENTRY & PRIZES
Entry and prizes are paid in Xan rather than Torn cash, helping keep things simpler and reducing the risk of getting mugged carrying a big cash prize.
93.75% of entry fees goes into the prize pool.
6.25% is retained to help cover the running/admin side of things.
WHY DID I BUILD IT?
Before anyone assumes I'm some coding wizard...
I'm absolutely NOT.
I built Russian RoulEgg as a challenge to myself to learn something new while hopefully creating something fun for the Torn community.
It's gone from an idea to a functioning tournament system with automated payment verification, player accounts, brackets and result checking - which I'm honestly ridiculously proud of.
There'll also be FREE-ENTRY EVENTS, special events, bigger prize opportunities and potentially PRIVATE FACTION TOURNAMENTS if requested.
