When I first started the game I remember putting merits into bank interest. I didn't remember how many merit points I put but I remember I did because of this possible game exploit.
After the Christmas season event I decided to do the free reset merit to adjust my play style and then I didn't put any merit points into bank interest. Well about yesterday or two days ago I decided to put merit points into bank interest.
When I was deciding to put 1 or 3 merits points into bank investment. So I was checking how much would the return be after the 1 week and 2 week choices. I don't remember the 1 week option. Because I decided to do the 2 week option.
It was 1.73 for the 2 week option. So I decided to put 1 merit into investment banking.
When I went to check the Bank interest again it said 1.6 something idk don't remember the 2nd decibel. So I said hold on a minute. Did the interest go down.?!?.. that doesn't make any sense. So I reluctantly put another 2 points in bank interest. I check investment banking again and then it back to 1.73.
Then I realized I had put 3 merits in banking before and it never updated when I did the merit reset UNTIL I put merits in bank interest.
I do not know the extent of this bug can go but if you've been paying attention this can be pretty game breaking and can potentially save someone 55 merit points. OR the bank will automatically update when you decide to invest money into it. Which means instead of a game breaking bug its probably just a text title that needs to be updated for the investment banking page when you do a reset merit. I do not know. I'm not rich and can not afford to play with a games exploits that cost a lot of money.
