Hey everyone, I'm super new to Torn and was browsing the forums.

I was surprised to see a gaming section and decided to make a thread.

I just started playing the new Borderlands this weekend. My expectations were pretty low with how Borderlands 3 went and Tiny Tinas Wonderland was. (I wasn't a fan.) And honestly, I am loving the crap outta the new one. I've been having some crashes every once and a while but overall my experience had been super positive.

I think Gearbox really cooked with this one.

How is everyone liking or disliking it so far?

Honestly, to me it looks almost graphically identical to borderlands 2 with somethings being a little better. So I feel you on that.

Literally the only issue I have with performance is crashing. Not really any lag or anything like that. I mean there is the fact that some people don't like that the game runs pretty much only @60fps on pc which I can understand. But for gameplay purposes, I don't think it's that deep and it's such a small issue comparatively to what the game has to offer you.

I probably crash once every couple of hours. I'm talkin' like after 3ish hours of gameplay. It's usually always during dialogue. But like I said before, it's a quick relaunch and you're right back to where you left off. I personally haven't lost any progression.

Honestly, the movement and semi-open world is awesome.

The tone of BL4 is more down to earth and not a multitude of bad jokes.

Also, replaying bosses (that I've run into so far) only cost cash. 

If you're playing on Hard, you'll earn more than you put in.

The skill trees are robust and feel pretty compelling. 

1st game where I actually wanted to play the Siren.

You can also apparently mute Claptrap. Supposedly.  Haven't done it myself but it's an option from what the devs said.

I know it seems like I'm only pro BL4, but the performance is a big issue. However, remembering old Fallout 3 and Oblivion...

I've been practically numbed to the crashing thing. Also everytime I crash, I'm right where I left off.

No lost progress.
