Question to OP: a total newb somehow landed a job in 10* mining co. What can he do to maximize the benefit from the (temp) employment opportunity before the imminent director getting fed up by pisslow noob workstat to then eventual firing? Sitting on job points unsure what to spend on
Thank you for bringing this matter to spotlight OP. As a new player ever since I learned that mugbot exists from a recent ish GD thread complaining about bot-like mugging I slowly lost interest in the game. Mugging is by far the most interesting aspect of the game for me and botting is just simply discouraging. Haven't even sell my Xmas stuffs because of it (and no, stfu about selling them to traders). Hell, I'd rather lose the ability to use utility scripts like BSP, FFscouter or most of weav3r's scripts if it means mugbots would never have any remote chance to exist. FIX THE GAME
You first para don't make any sense so I'm ignoring that. Even before the update there were times where stocks were out and I had to wait. The risk of getting mugged abroad has always been there.
I haven't landed in SA since the last update so no clue how how bad is the restock timing there, but I've been to UK, JP and Canada recently and xanax were in stock for as low as 779k.
..Now it looks like you're taking a huge risk of taking all that money and spending all that time to land and have absolutely no idea if you're going to see any Xanax at all.
This risk has always been here though even before the update.
If you're talking about the unpredictable price tag, when reselling just transfer the cost increase back to your trader + fees for your time if any.
Ah, such philosphical question but I'd never know its answer because I've never happy jumped, or at least I've never did it properly nor consistently enough to make a judgement. So why have I never jumped? It's not because I don't find it 'worthy' of doing it's because after accounting for PI lease/upkeep, donator status and daily xan budget, I'm often left with no more money for funsies like HappyJump™.
Not OP but I'd like to report my lv70 disposal crime has been quite a breeze for me ignoring some crit failed in the very early levels. I opted for safest method in all jobs until recently I switched to abandon method for better $/n.
Some context,
BS: Balanced all around
WS: End/Man, almost non-existent Int
I'm also seeing significant success rate improvement in muscle role faction OCs so that's nice.
Ehh, insurance isn't technically gambling but it kinda is, in a way somewhat similar to those players' run lottery/raffle it's highly profitable venture with near zero risk to the biz owner and will always be a zero sum game for the customers. Unlike irl where insurance is highly necessary, in Torn I'm not so sure.
What would more interesting topic though is to ask whether which of these players (with identical constants) will progress furthest in the long run (progress to be measured in networth or stats or both): player A consistently insure his 4x xanax stack, player B never insure. I think player B wins but not by much.
