I'm 10 months in to Torn now and happy jumps seems like the noob trap to me.
Sure, you will raise your floor faster but it will be at the detriment of your long term growth.
I have 2 battle stats outside of happy jump range and I've only been using xanax, other than the first couple months where I only used ecstasy to train with natural energy.
While my initial stats might be lower at first I have unlocked most of the gyms for better gains and I'm close to my first billion invested in the bank.
By the time you are outside of happy jump range you'll be broke and I'll be well on my way to fund anything I want, like better gear, stocks for even more income or more expensive energy restoration, whether it be for training or war.
One of our guys got 4b by accident and returned it. Not at the same scale as Nuke but still...
