Hi there, I’m the leader of a small start up faction called The Parish. 

Im looking for a co-leader plus a couple of bankers/advisors to help grow this faction.

So my faction is currently in a war, the opposition is stronger so we are using a turtling tactic by flying to different countries and popping back to make a hit and run again. 

The opposing leader is very unhappy about it and claims disrespect even though there were no terms banning the tactic. The opposing faction seems to be slightly hypocritical as they attack and hospitalise their own players to stop our chains

I didn’t realise this was a banned turtling tactic so

can I get your opinions?

-Disrespectful war malpractice?

-Or a widely used turtling tactic?

I believe that the power of the church is influential in real life and in this game as well. We have heard the conspiracy theories behind Torn City’s infamous church. 

WHAT IF…..

1-Factions had an upgrade where they can earn faction respect via contributions to the church, whether that be prayer or donations. 

2-Just like the days of old, ransacking other faction’s churches could be an addition to increase war score or increase respect earned from wars. 

3-The more contributions, the higher the church level increases for the faction, offering better rewards as the level increases. This could be represented by a faction’s “Piety points”.  1 piety point = $1m donation

4-Factions can participate in Holy wars with each other to steal/increase piety points for better church rewards. 

The parish is looking for a larger faction to guide us through torn. We will take your less experienced members and give them advice and train them in an easier setting to prepare them for your big leagues.

It would also be beneficial if you have players lined up who will join us on this journey. Ones that know how to play. Its not required though

On the other hand i am willing to join an existing faction as a recruit but i would prefer them to be low in respect so i can grow with the faction and make a real impact
