The great Torn Genie!

I have heard only tales of this lamp until now.

Illustrious spirit of wind and flame, ancient being of smoke and starlight. Granter of fortunes, and crusher of dreams. Might you spare a moment's ear for a young wayfarer's wish? For you see, word of your power echoes through these Torn City streets. Tales of innumerous wishes granted, and even more denied with relentless cleverness. I have deduced, though, that the optimal wish is obvious.

A Private Island!

With a yacht, and a helicopter pad, and a dignified British butler named Sterling who will sigh quietly while polishing my crystal bourbon glasses-

...upon reflection, though, I have come to quite the troubling realization.

You are, tragically, not the Federal Reserve.

So I shan't throw my only request away. Instead, this battered wanderer humbly wishes for a coupon or two for a complimentary stay at the Feathery Hotel. You see, my first two months in the City have been.. educational.

I have been shot, mugged, hospitalized.

I've gone to war, more than once.

I have developed what Swiss doctors are calling a "concerning relationship with Xanax."

Yet a simple man seeks simple pleasures. A quiet room, a moment of peace. Tiny shampoo bottles of questionable quality. Perhaps, if the fates are kind, one of those elegant towels folded into the shape of a swan awaits upon my bed. Truly a reminder that beauty still exists, even in the occasionally irradiated depths of society.
