as promised xD still needs work as i have just recently switch to nix after being on Debian for ~4 years. i will make the charging block down the bottom go pink and add a volume bit and then its pretty much done for me haha
Ooo I have an extremely ugly desktop to send here when I get home xD tbf it uses as little as 300mb of ram as it's i3 + i3 blocks on Nix.
Edit, just realised this thread is a year old 😭 I'll send anyway I guess
Ok so for duel booting, if you make another partion on your disk and install your second distro without overwriting your grub (please make sure that the second distro does not touch your EFI partion by manually telling it where to install or in arch's case, just not installing a bootloader). Then booting back to your main OS you have to edit your grub install config to enable OS prober and then tell grub to reconfigure itself. I cant explain how to do this because I have to go soon but there is YouTube tutorials probably if you just look up how to use OS prober in grub :D also make sure your EFI is mounted to /boot before trying to update grub config! Some distros do this automatically and some don't and the grub config updater either will complain or won't work otherwise. Anyway adding more to the rant, all of this is possible without OS-prober with GRUB but it's more of a pain and especially hard for newer uses. Good luck and feel free to message if you get stuck :D
I can vouch for getting started with Codecademy. Never paid for it though and this was ~6 years ago (I am doing software engineering in uni!). Honestly, YouTube tutorials are underated. Pick up one of those 3h videos that do a full course of the language and maybe find some YouTubers like TheCherno that focus on a subtopic of the language in like a 20 minute video :D good luck!
As my second most played game behind CS, I don't know if tarkov is worth playing xD
If you are looking for a game you don't have to invest much time into, hotline miami is one of my favourites of all time. For casual games, Peggle is peak, I may be biased for peggle as I own the most followed peggle fan acc on insta but still peggle is awesome.
Factorio is my favourite automation game if you are autistic 😭 500 hours so far for me
Personal I.D
