I've only been playing for 30 days, so I am totally open to having my mind changed, but I don't understand how Bazaar's are beneficial to the sellers, except for a few scenarios.
The seller lists the item in the bazaar for exactly 5% under market, thereby saving the market fee while still having a competitive price
Listing $1 items to get unique bazaar customers for the merit
I don't think bazaar's make sense otherwise. Here's why:
If you list your item for more than market value, there's no reason for a buyer to purchase from your bazaar
You could have your item listed for what you think is market value, and then the market price shoots up and someone purchases your items for under the new market value
If you're listing it on the market, you can directly respond to the market price depending on how soon you want the money. If you're worried about being buy-mugged, you can price competitively and be ready to vault your money as soon as it's purchased. Bazaar money just comes in randomly, and it seems like it's more risky to receive large sums of cash when you're not ready for it.
I'm genuinely trying to understand the grindset of those of you passionate about bazaars. Is there something that I'm missing? Don't get me wrong, as a buyer, I love going to $1 bazaars, and I think I understand that people use them as advertising to draw more attention to their bazaar, I just can't understand why anyone would buy from a bazaar over the market lowest. I see people with plushies in their bazaar for $100M, and materials that are more than 50% higher than market value. Is there a reason for that?
Basically, I like opening up lots of tabs and looking at people's profiles, but if I have more than 10 or so Torn tabs open while Faction Chat is popping off (you know, like during war), things start breaking. Is there a way to open a new tab with someone's profile without memory intensive things like Chat loading (or disable it per tab)?
I know that I can export my poker logs, but they only have my actions. I would like to export logs/scrape the text from the poker game itself that shows the actions that the other players took as well. Is there a script / tool that does that?
EDIT: This is an example of the logs that I'm talking about:
Game XXXXX started The preflop Two cards dealt to each player Player5 posted $100,000 Player1 posted small blind $50,000 Player2 posted big blind $100,000 Player5 checked Player3 folded Player4 called $100,000 Player1 called $50,000 Player2 checked The flop: 9♣, 6♣, Q♣ Player1 checked Player2 checked Player5 bet $200,000 Player4 raised $200,000 to $400,000 Player1 folded Player2 folded Player5 called $200,000 The turn: K♠ Player5 bet $600,000 Player4 called $600,000 The river: 2♠ Player5 checked Player4 bet $3,100,000 Player5 called $3,100,000 Player5 reveals [5♦, K♣] (Pair of Kings)
These are the type of logs that I'm talking about BTW:

I got those by just copying and pasting into notepad during the game (and manually removing the names), but there's got to be a way to scrape that or export that somehow, right?
