I like your post and the reflection it brings.

I'm absolutely not an experienced player, I'm a noob, but a serious one (one who reads a lot of guides).

I agree with you : when you start this game, you see "HAPPY JUMP" mentioned in every guides. My first thought was that it was very expensive. And when I finally had enough money to barely afford one, I found it stupid to waste all my money on a single happy jump.

Because I had also read the guides about passive income, and I was more interested in that than in having 10k more stats that the other noobs at my level. 25M is 1,25% of the max bank investment of 2B.

For the comparison of stats, I found this graph of the console jump post useful :

Yeah, the start of this game in terms of training is slooow and so painful... Happy Jump is the solution, but the time when it's the most useful is also the time when you can"t afford it (more on that later).

By the way, console jumps are what I'm doing until 220k-240k in all stats, then I'll switch to regular unless I become very rich (not very likely). It's worth mentioning that warring is not my goal in this game.

I understood along the way what HAPPY JUMP really was : theorycrafting of the game made by billionnaires.

Can a noob do it and take the optimal path ? Of course, but they have to be a whale, sponsored by someone, a genius at poker, a genius at trading, or simply someone with a good entrepreneurial mind who can make a lot of money in this game.

Those people exist, probably more than I think. Are there the majority of noobs ? I don't know.

I'm none of the above, so I take the long road, enjoying crimes and seeing my bank account grow.

Hello ! New player looking for a faction =)

Fresh level 15, just rented my first PI and discovering travel. I earned my first millions the hard way (through market and bazaar) to afford all that.

I read guides/forums a lot, plays regularly throughout the day. For now I'm not interested in war, looking for a peaceful faction. I want to concentrate on trade / building wealth / crimes / building stats for now.

A faction with decent Excursion perk would be appreciated.
