fwiw i dont exactly disagree with you though, i  do wish that the world was better. i wish all the giga rich people in this world was a bit more compassionate and shared their wealth more, then maybe this world wouldn't be as shitty as it is now. but hey, im just one guy. im no musk, or zuckerberg, or gates. i dont have the power to change the world for the better, as much as i'd love to. so im just going to do what i can to protect my own and enjoy my life the way i want with what resources i have.

I don't think any amount of money i spend on donator packs will allow me to catch up to the old money OGs of this game who have been playing consistently for 10+ years

and tbh , I like it that way. I don't intend or ever wished to be able to buy my way to the top and I think that is one of the things that makes this game great. Time is the ultimate asset and that reflects heavily in Torn.

My investment strategy hasn't changed much, still just sitting on maxed out stocks (i have multiple blocks for the energy drink and FHC one to give 4x). Maxed out bank, and of course I have a ton of PIs. Seems like passive income is kinda hard to scale and this game heavily rewards active playing, those who actively trade the item market, run their bazaars and constantly trading/flipping items. I believe that is something that can scale up exponentially but it requires the player to put an equal amount of time into it.

unfortunately for me, as a full time stay at home dad, i dont really have enough time to trade the item markets yet but once my kids are older and i have more free time im sure ill have a lot of fun doing that. Item trading and collecting is something that I really enjoy doing.

Yes, the majority of the equipment items in my display case are opened by me. I never "took them" from other players, I opened these. And I am not using them because I already have a main set of gear that's better. Yes, I have MULTIPLE EOD pieces, the ones in my display are all extras that I pulled myself from caches. 

so much for trying to have a proper conversation about how fucked the world is

basically just throwing insults at me at this point, really never seen anyone get so mad about someone spending their money on a video game on the internet. please get some help.

you can buy any amount up to 9999 at a time

a lot of ppl don't seem to know about this so maybe it was a more recent updated feature on the donator house page?

you get the 21% discount + bonus points for buying any amount 51 or more 

if you pay with crypto you can get an additional 20% discount on top of that which is what i usually do now

there's no super secret discount that i know of and ive never been contacted by ched or any staff before about anything
