My favorite book series is Dune. There's a big debate about whether "God Emperor of Dune", the fourth book, is the series' peak. I used to think so, but having returned to the series, I think Leto became a simp. It killed my re-read, to be honest. Despite this, I think Frank Herbert is the American Tolkien.
