Sounds a lot like "It's 50/50, either you can buy it, or you can't".
It actually is tied and determined to your TornID
For anyone reading in 2026, I haven't been able to find an answer to whether the addon works or not. What I could find it however is this:
I use Firefox, so when I found the addon.mozilla page, I checked there and it said:
Last updated 2 years ago (Apr 25, 2024)
However, installing the addon, and clicking into the addon, from the toolbar, scrolling down, it says:
Version: 7.9.1
Date: 22/01/2020, 13:03:15
Channel: Stable
Platform: Firefox
The latest entry in the changelog is dated 2020-01-22. I can't find it on Github.
They mention explicitly in the first post, that it isn't under active development, only bug fixes.
The link in the FAQ on their website, that link is dead, it once prompted you to reach out to them.
For anyone interested, you could try contacting Mauk.
I will be uninstalling it, just as a safety precaution.
If you haven't heard about it already, I definitely recommend checking out TornTools, link to forum thread here.
TL;DR
Not been updated for several years, working? Maybe, maybe not.
Check out TornTools, if you haven't already.
