Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman.
Great lit rpg series highly recommend. Basically the apocalypse happens because an alien species destroys the world and transports survivors into a tv series called Dungeon Crawler World to fight for their lives. Crazy good and interesting story. Very unique.
Plus if you like audio books the narrator for the audio version is Jeff hays and his voice acting for the series is top tier. Hard to believe one guy can make so many different voices lol. My description doesn't really do it justice though so i suggest reading the actual description to get a better idea of the book lol!
