I started graphic design in middle school as a hobby (I made PFPs for CoD clan members I interacted with), took classes in high school and have an associate's degree in corporate communications. Although I don't plan on becoming a graphic designer because of my interest in public relations and advertising (as well as the INSANE designers, I'd have to compete against), but I would like to keep having projects to do to keep my portfolio going and not let it sit stagnant. Maybe I'm missing something, which I can admit to, but I don't see it at the moment. I'm just offering suggestions to make a bland casino a little more fun. I'm not asking for us to be able to gamble with points lol.
So this may have already been suggested and shot down at some point, so please excuse me if this is a repeat suggestion, but I would heavily enjoy an MMA hobby (like racing), where you can use your gym stats to fight in underground matches (more risk since theres less rules; i.e. hospitalization), to amateur leagues, all the way up to the TFC (Torn Fighting Confederation). Maybe there are $$/point rewards for monthly tournaments. If this is a dumb idea, I completely understand, the jazz cabbage/UFC combo is persuading me lol.

I am Taco Daddy (TacoDaddyOG), I just started Torn a couple months ago and I've been hooked. I'm active every day, this is my first community event though (other than the dollar sales day). I'm based in the Eastern US, so my time zone correlates with New York/Philadelphia. I want to limit how much I am a burden to this team (and hopefully be on the winning team lol), so any tips or suggestions are appreciated! :)

I hope Torn not only enforces this potential scam gateway, but also learn why so many players have gone to 3rd party Casinos. I’m a newer player (who thoroughly enjoys the game, I plan to be long-term donator), and the casino was a fun aspect for me at first. After a month or two (especially when I got lucky on all 3 wheels and got the merits), it became stale. Not only was it not fun, it’s actually teeth-pulling to me.
I enjoy poker irl and want the merit, but the tables that fit my budget are either empty or full, with other tables either being way out of my budget or I’m playing for pennies. I’d love to see more tables with an intermediate price range, along with new features (ability to customize table & card textures is my personal big one).
I want the [elusive] slots merit but clicking that button, knowing I won’t get hit the jackpot or even make a profit, repeatedly and hearing the same sounds and graphics are mind-numbingly boring. At least provide different themed slots or various slot mechanics (non-linear winning pattern, “Buy Bonus”, different level jackpots [Minor, Major, “Criminal”/Highest Jackpot]. Add new sounds, I’m not trying to beat a dead horse here.
The Sportsbook/Bookie is a nice touch to it all, and as much as I would love for the games to be streamed live on here, I know that will never happen (a man can wish though). Adding Parlays and Limited-Time Bonuses would make things a lot more interesting to me. A Sportsbook/Bookie Global Chat would be cool, it’s only open to people who bet $____ every ___ days.
Blackjack is Blackjack, High/Low can genuinely eat my ass, I still don’t know how to play Craps (skill issue), I do feel like there has to be other gambling games that can be incorporated in the game’s official Casino, only tho that comes to mind are scratch off tickets.
Im not saying my suggestions are the right suggestions either, but the key to any great game is receiving feedback and listening to it, which this game’s staff seem to do great on.

God… I’m so sorry for not knowing you were an artist. You had to have put so much effort opening your AI platform of your choice, typing “make me a picture of a lizard lady with big tits”, repeatedly continuing to type “no, bigger tits”, then saving the photo and clicking post on Discord. Sounds like the same amount of effort as me screenshotting, going to the torn newspaper, attaching the photo, typing what is happening in said photo, and clicking submit.

As someone who got a DP through a newspaper submission (8-titted wolf; Go Apex), you're just mad you didn't have the idea to screenshot and/or submit your own work. And if you want to talk about "this wouldn't exist without my exact inputs", isn't the screenshot technically a piece of his own work? Without his... "exact inputs" of Windows+Shift+S, then Newspaper, attach, and Submit, it wouldn't exist in the newspaper!
My argument is as ridiculous as yours. This is a text-based RPG game set in place of a borderline lawless city. The DP is $5USD irl (or $24m in game), so if you're so adamant on complaining about this, you're either broke irl or broke in game. Either way, get your money up. 200-230 crushed cans, such as soda cans and beer cans, will get you $5 at your local scrapyard. Best of Luck!

Different stats, maybe a "ranked" system, placing people with similar stats/levels against one another. Sponsorship deals that provide you with more $/training boosts when you hit an objective.

So... a dirty bomb hit Torn and this is my first one. I do not travel, but just curious if I can do my typical stuff (bazaar, dump, racetrack, organized crime, city markets, etc.) or if this means I'm basically stuck to a certain number of things to do?
