I just tried to join with a friend link, but when I clicked it the create account page still remembered my username.
I proceeded to create the account and it asked for their name so I clicked the link again and then it put me right into the game menu.
I don't think the link applied but I wasn't sure so I asked the community helper and they told me to make this post :)

My two cents as a new player.
Leveling to 15 was fun, I joined a faction recommended by a friend and they supported and guided me a lot along the way.
Post level 15, learning to fly to make money was an exciting new adventure which has slowly turned into a chore. Maybe the game has more to offer that I'm not yet aware about but rather than actively engaging with the game I just sit and wait on long timers doing the same thing on repeat.
In addition to this, I recently lost my green leaf status, it felt like it went so fast. Just as I started to understand the game and make some progress I then got overwhelmed by frequent mugs.
People tell me the game starts at level 15 which it did (for making flying and money), but it also feels like an uphill battle.
