From my experience, when I didn't buy any safety for my wington, I lost like 2-3 part of upgrades when crashed. But when I buy one safety like uprated gaskets for Oceania, and Intercooler for Edomondo, I only lost one part when crashing. I don't know with other racer tho, perhaps it doesn't matter at all

I use wington to reach A class since I'm exceedingly poor to buy colina, tho I crash the wington 2 times, I manage to save 201 racing points and reach A class. Also, I didn't know this guide exist until I ask George ;D
