I woke up rich at half past eight,
Checked my stocks and felt quite great.
Hit the gym and trained my stats,
Bought some Xanax, fed my cats.
Flew abroad for plushie runs,
Dreamed of profits, easy funds.
Landed back with bags to sell,
Then got mugged and lost it all.
"No big deal," I calmly said,
Though inside I wished I'm dead.
(Not literally, don't report.)
That's just life in Torn, in short.
Tried the casino late at night,
Certain luck was on my side.
Blackjack smiled for just one hand,
Then my bankroll left the land.
Rehab called me once again,
Like an old and trusted friend.
Paid my fee and walked on through,
Broke, addicted, level two.
Next day someone sent a trade,
Looked legit, a deal well made.
Missed one zero, clicked accept...
There goes everything I kept.
Yet tomorrow I'll log in,
Chase more losses, chase a win.
For despite the pain and pity,
There's no place quite like Torn City.
