Currently, the system employs mechanics that deviate drastically from standard casino practices, effectively stripping away reasonable statistical probabilities from the player:
Continuous Shuffling Contradictions: The system purports to utilize an 8-deck shoe, yet it executes a complete shuffle between hands and repeatedly resets the state of the deck. In standard card mechanics, an 8-deck shoe exists to offer a specific, predictable distribution. Continuously resetting the deck state nullifies the purpose of a multi-deck shoe, heavily distorting the true mathematical odds in favor of the dealer far beyond an acceptable house advantage.
Irregular Splitting Mechanics: The mechanics surrounding splitting hands do not align with standard rules, artificially generating sub-optimal cards and removing tactical player agency.
When a game deviates this aggressively from the foundational rules of Blackjack, it ceases to be a fair simulation of chance and functions as a mathematically broken system.
Compounding this mechanical issue is the completely unacceptable conduct of your staff. When valid concerns regarding these system design flaws were brought forward, community representatives chose to use the platform to mock and humiliate players rather than address the feedback professionally:
WaywardSquid [2330087] summarily dismissed the core design flaw, stating, "This is neither a bug nor an issue."
Cleansing-Flame [1636350] followed up with a highly unprofessional personal attack, stating, "The issue is his ability to post lol."
It is incredibly disheartening to see staff members attempting to use player frustration as a punchline to show off or act "funny" in public spaces. Treating valid player feedback as a joke is toxic to the community environment. Staff should act as neutral mediators; instead, these individuals actively contributed to the problem by ridiculing the community they are meant to assist and protect.
I request that senior administration review both the underlying Blackjack code to align it with standard rules and address the unprofessional conduct of WaywardSquid and Cleansing-Flame.
this is sad that torn has a black jack game using fake money but yet take every chance of winning practically away from the player. Real black jack games dont shuffle between hands or every dam card drawn! they also dont draw new cards when splitting resulting in the worse odds in the history of black jack! Why have 8 decks when your constantly shuffle every other card and between every hand completely taking most the odds of winning away for a player, just being the dealer you hold most the odds of winning but yet torn feels the need to remove even more odds of a player winning. also im sure if i look into the code ill find more that torn is doing to lessen the odds of a player winning
