Went to SA this morning to see what the World Tiger Day fuss was about. Figured I'd get a few items to pay for the trip as I wasn't likely to get a diamond unicorn hunting.

Trying to buy ANYTHING was like playing wack-a-mole. Things were flying off the shelf the second they appeared. I'm sure more muggings happened on the shelves than outside the airport!

Is it always like that during WTD?

I've been grinding out Search for Cash trying to collect all the uniques. There are two that are eluding me.

Search the Cemetary: $100k-$200k

Search the Fountain: 2 x Ecstasy [50% or higher collections]



My SfC CS is 96 and so I'm surprised that the star to show that they're available has not appeared all week. Am I missing something or do these last ones just randomly spawn?

I'm developing a personal desktop application for my own Torn account. It will make low-frequency requests to your documented API to enrich my own local database. Before I integrate it, I wanted to check you're comfortable with that level of usage and whether there's a preferred polling frequency.

I quite enjoy grinding through stuff sequentially so most of my crimes have been focussed on Search For Cash although Card Skimming and Bootlegging have also contributed. My SfC CS is 96. In my experience the most lucrative of the SfC putting aside uniques has been the Junkyard. I can reliably get $100k daily (chump change in the grand scheme of things I know) just from oxygen, methane and hydrogen tanks which regularly drop.

Yes - i see your point. ATEOTD I guess it's just happy season in SA 🤣

That makes sense but only for the drugs. So I would expect Xanax to take an absolute hammering. But EVERYTHING was 0 stock...even stuff that you can't seemingly make a profit on like an Afro Comb.

Stuff was dripping onto the shelf in ones and twos and disappearing before you could buy it, or you clicked to buy 1 went to confirm and it would come back with the message 0 stock even though one was there when you clicked. Don't get me wrong - I found it funny but just wondering if that's normal. If we have Chinese New Year day hunting dragons would that be the same 🤷‍♂️

Natural Language Engineering gives 275 (Prerequisite is Intro to Computers)

Quantum Computers gives 250 (prerequisite is Intro to Computers)

Revenue Law & Computer Security & Defense both give 175 and also have prerequisite courses

At Intro level they max out at 50

all give 50

I don't seem to be able to enable YATA. Whenever I click the toggle button on I get a message saying "There was an issue requesting additional permissions. Please go to normal settings page." It keeps the toggle on but when I navigate away and come back the toggle is off again.
