Well sharing my story too to honor Haha_Noob... my brother used to play, he was my best in game friend too, we never shared money as since we had same ip at the time and played fair. Those days we had lots of asshole staff and he got f**ked by staff once and decided to sell the account. The thing was unfair so he decided to quit, still made a profit before doing so. The dumb guy who bought the account did a lot of dumb self trading and got the account banned as well.
The story was the following. I left the computer open in a tab in torn jail, at time busting was not so popular and people had the jail chat to offer little bounties for busts. My brother typed in my account that I would pay a billion for a bust. Well his idea was to f**k a little with my account so I would get lots of hospitalizations for his joke. The staff got involved and threatened to fed my account if I didnt pay. My brother got overly pissed about it. He paid so I could keep playing but got pissed at the game and played less and less till he decided to sell the account. So f**k u bad mods! (Not the good ones tough at time noone helped) So i guess rip huskie or like the guy that change his name to PrivateReviver [13022]
Had some conversations with this amazing guy about Cyprus beaches, had some trades. He was on the other side of the world to and was a cool person, I will hug my friends more, we never know when our loved ones will be taken from us. I pray that god comforts his friends and family in this sad hour.
So I Was a long time inactive and returned to play... I used a stat enhancer when I found a skateboard in the street, I was dumb back then and had no idea what that would do to me... Well, I gained less than a regular train, but fast forward to today, i should have gained a merit for this enhancer used, but I didn´t. I don´t have the honor bar, this affects probably only the ones that used 1 stat enhancer way back then and then came back to play more torn after a long time of inactivity.
I once broke, lost 4b in casino black jack. The solution was quitting the game for 7 years. In order to be sure that i would never return, i gave my stuff to "friends" and faction at the time. Well i decided to come back, friends never sent a dime in my way and nowadays I play mostly with new friends and faction and not the old ones. Many have also quitted, so be strong, dont quit and dont count with your friends and all will be fine after a while
Hey guys, It was a interesting war, i wound´t blame only the strategy, i think in a slugfest results might have beeing different, still there are some worth points of notice about how Riot fought and things about the war..
1-top guys contributions was amazing, but if you scroll down to top 30 and below, lots of people have done too little or nothing in the war effort and also scoring, there is a limit to how much you can carry your team mates 2-Revives were turned on for some of Riot members, i won´t be snitching names but those guys really took the pressure off, knowing that we would always have a good smack target to drop that chain hit on 3- War is also attrition, that means morale is also a huge part of battle, if morale is gone, everything else crumbles apart, and once you believe that you can´t counter the strategy, well its over before you can do something 4-We also had some fun moments of bloodshed in this war, like when 29 guys fought Riot in an endless clash or beeing jumped by 6 lower guys throwing grenades, that was probably the most fun part of the war
It was probably funnier to us that won than to you guys that got stuck in an mudpit strategy, still GG, and i believe you guys will get even stronger for ranked wars in the future, your team has a lot of potential
Would be nice to bet on larger faction ranked wars It could be diff from today bookie so you don´t bet against the house, but you get a % of the pot you bet so if you bet 100 and total bet was 1000 you get 10% if you win, if the people bet a total of 2500 you get your bet + 10% = 350 It would also allow factions to bet directly against each other in a war for more than just bragging rights
I won´t apply just simply because i like to play torn, and mixing things that you like with things that pay you sometimes is a shortcut to hate what you once liked. It happened with me , i was a coder for an non profitable organization involved with charity and volunteers, i loved the job they did on the volunteer side, but after working with then for their system, I started to no longer like it so much and involved myself less and less with their charity side of the job , untill i was no longer participating , only working. I felt that i was working when participating in the volunteer activites and that killed it for me.
Still, if you guys ever go open source in parts of the code, i will try my best to help for free. I know some parts can´t be like that because of comercial reasons, but maybe some parts could (like casino coding).
