Like most packs, I imagine it's a bit of a numbers game, but just wondered if anyone has any stats on how many you need to open to make a profit? Noticed the rich kids sometimes drop them after successful pickpockets and they have a current market value of just under 1 mill, but that may end up with some pumpkin brews and Kandy Kane's which would correspond to a loss when compared to Market Value.
Last night I did my daily punt on WoF. I clicked spin, the spin button was then rendered unclickable, there was no animation/spinning.
This resulted in a hosp for 19 minutes by Leslie, however on a 1M spin you typically receive several hours of hosp time, and the wheel still spins.
21:01:09 - 28/08/26 You lost on the Wheel of Mediocrity going to the hospital for 0h 20m
21:01:10 - 28/08/26 You were sent to the hospital for 0h 20m : Choked out by Leslie
Had a quick question re getting the slots to payout.
If you're familiar with slot machines IRL then you know that wins and losses come in waves.
I just wondered if anyone has either continually refilled their CTs, or used the casino perk to accumulate a few hundred tokens, and then spammed the slots, to any varying degree of success?
Of course doing so is a gamble, but isn't everything in life a gamble:)
I had an account years and years ago that I used for a few weeks during the pandemic, and I remember getting the Villa on the mid-tier WoF very early.
I wondered if anyone here has figured out the sweet spots to hit 'Stop'. I typically hit stop on the hospitalisation segment, as naturally that should mean that you're unlikely to land on it.
On the other hand, it could be completely random and I've just spent far too much time trying to be a smart cookie.

If you have 50+ nerve, you can easily make over a mill a day by doing Burglary.
It all hinges on the Michigan US Senate seat this cycle. If El Sayed wins, the momentum behind AOC will continue. He will also be her running mate, if he wins. If he loses, it practically guarantees the GOP a majority in the Senate, and will give the old guard in the Dem caucus enough ammunition to potentially stave off the takeover of the party by the DSA.
As a general rule, you should not mix Xanax with a copious amount of beer... at best you will miss your alarms the next morning;)
It's hard to be hospitalized drinking only beer IRL let alone in Torn ;)
So I tried this yesterday and today, bought an extra 50 tokens each day. Today managed to profit by hitting 3 handguns.
Today $1.25M in with a profit of $110,000.
Might start making a table of this if people will find useful.

It's summer, everyone drinks more beer in the summer :)))
If you want to pursue that above all else, then invest your merits into education course length to shave time off of your courses.

In Torn or in real life :D
Lol I thought a quick way to make some money would be betting all I have on England winning which almost didn't happen.
I did not learn rom that mistake and now have every penny riding on Belgium.. which is turning out spectacularly :D
Couldn't find a post on what strategies players use when deploying merits.
In early stages, is it advisable to pour merits into battle stats or nerve, for example?
