I was recently released from employment following completely unconfirmed reports that I was “test-driving” sex dolls in the storage closet before selling them.
These allegations are categorically false, defamatory, and have no proof to support them.
Plus, even if I did do what they claim, I would have always sanitized the merchandise using our “Top-of-the-Line Cleaning Products™.”, so if anything it was all an act of quality assurance.
Anyway, I’m looking for a new workplace where I can pour all my time and energy. I’m willing to work 60–80 hours a week as long as I’m allowed a private 3–5 minute break in the storage closet every few hours. What I do during those breaks is between me, God, and whatever merchandise happens to be stored in there.
Strengths:
Hard worker with plenty of endurance
Extremely thorough when cleaning up after myself
No personal life to interfere with work
Comfortable working alone in storage closets
Loyal until security footage suggests otherwise
Weaknesses:
Intelligence
Occasionally gets too hands-on with the merchandise
Poor relationship with HR
References may be unwilling to comment during an active investigation
Not currently allowed within 500 feet of my previous workplace
Work Stats:
Man: 861
Int: 279
End: 751
Total: 1,891
Please DM me if you have openings at your company.
PS: If your a lawyer and willing to take my case of (false firing?) shoot me a DM....Full disclosure someone opened the storage room door once, but it's just witness testimony so it's hearsay right?
Working on a Chrome Extension called "Torn - Extended" and wanted to get other's thoughts, make sure this follows the rules, and see if anyone's down to beta-test when it's ready.
Plan on adding new features like: - Pets (Pet Items in shops, Pet Training in the gym, a Vet along side the Hospital tab), - Player Driven Contracts (Factions that enter contract/termed wars have to put x number of Xanax in escrow (basically give it to a player to hold)), if either faction breaks contract terms the other faction gets it)
- Prison Gangs/Contraband/ect
1. Torn - Extended is still Torn. You never go off site. The chrome extension just adds HTML for additional content (Pets, Player Driven Contracts (With Xanax in Escrow to enforce the contract, ect) 2. Torn - Extended will only read from the current torn page your on/make other API requests within the bounds of Torn's API docs - https://www.torn.com/api.html 3. Will have a parallel( ish ) economy since there's not a way to integrate Torn's currency directly (You trade Xanax to a player for $ in Torn Extended) which will let you (for example) buy Dog Treats / Dog Food / Pet toys / ect (items will be injected into the pawn shop inventory and make API requests to Torn - Extended when you make a purchase) from the pawn shop. **I would not be taking or accepting any real money for this. The item trading would just be used as a way to extend the economy.
Have seen some other players with parallel economies so seems okay to do. There's a lot more fun stuff we could add to torn. Could also be an easy way for devs to test out new features.
My husband keeps killing me. He buys me nice things all the time but he's so abusive. Can anyone put him in his place? He's only lv 17 but I'm lv 7 and can't fight back.
This is him - https://www.torn.com/profiles.php?XID=4390950
It was an example. I don't actually want to become the most OP lv 15. My question is why would I want to continue to level up after a certain point vs just hold and grow my stats on that level? You don't know someone's battle stats until you attack them right? So if a lv 20 tries to fight me thinking I'm an easy target but I've just been grinding gym and have 100k in all of my battle stats?
They had it a few years ago from what I read, but took it out bc of animal cruelty complaints.... seems like a dumb reason to take something out. This is a crime game lol

All great questions that I would need to think through more. Was just tossing out feature ideas that could exist in it to see if this idea would be allowed or not.
Just to be clear, I haven't built this, it's not in the chrome store and the whole point of the thread was to ask if building this would comply with the rules or not. Banning someone for asking a question so they don't inadvertently break the rules would be interesting to say the least...
bogie said no. I respect that. Was just trying to understand if there were any changes I could make to how it's built that would make it compliant (Eg we established 3rd party casinos are accepted - so if players can race their animals and bet on the outcome so it's more of a betting/gambling feature?)
Will check that out! Saw Torn Tools extension just wasn't sure there's any room to build something that doesn't exist already with there already being tons of scripts related to QOL. But will go look. Thanks!
From talking to a helper, original dogs were removed for fighting/animal cruelty, so animal fighting would be a bad path.
But what if the point of the "Pets" part of the extension is to get animals you can raise and race? Kind of like the Cars part of the game, but with raising/breeding/taking care of animals. Then you bet on your animal to win & when you win, you can convert the proceeds back into TC?
This way it's still gambling -> The Pet part of the extension is essentially just a casino game?
Curious what your views on why are? Shooby's leading me to believe the rules are setup in a way that players have to come back to Torn and spend money here to buy more torn currency.
Casino's let players burn money (essentially)
Why would using it on additional features in Torn be frowned upon?
I wonder why they would allow players to burn money in casinos but other features that would let them burn money would be disallowed. Seems both paths would lead to more DP sales no?
How can I work within the bounds of the rules to build this?
There's so much cool stuff outside of just pets we could build into it to expand the game, but we need some way to facilitate economical transactions. I'm just trying to figure out how we can implement new stuff to make Torn even better.
Eg - I want to build more stuff to do so I can waste more time on this game lol
Ya'll are looking at this all wrong. There wouldn't be any real money trading & it wouldn't be a separate game.
It'd be extending Torn's economy to facilitate new player driven features.
Also, according to Shooby, the intent of the "No RMT" rule is to ensure players only buy Torn currency for real money on Torn. There's not going to be a way for players to purchase more torn currency through the new feature in the extension or do anything that would negatively impact Torn's real money income.
