Think about it, a newspaper is only published with news from selected writers with greatly monotorized articles that can easily controlled, changed and blocked by owners of it (Which in our cases its mods, probably.) And the worst part about our newspaper is even if we technically can write articles, it never gets published. We dont even get confirmation of it being published or not. There is not a single place where you can read others articles written by actual players and not sugarvalves. Even in the archives there is not a single player written article apart from alves. Only 1 in last month, and 10 in last 3 months, all lev 100 or 3+ year players. Where is the new players in this? Ill tell you, nowhere!
So what i purpose is we open Torn City Broadcasting Channel (TCBC) and let players actually write articles in there (News, to be acurate since its a radio). "But what if they flood it with spams" dont we have an ai assistan that detects that? "But what if someone decides to write racist stuff?" even i know the fact that if you report something that is against the rules mods will take care of it in an hour or less. "But servers cant handle that much news" then so cant the newspaper but we still can "publish news" there eh? If its all about servers doesnt having capacity for such archive just tell us and remove the article publishing mechanic. If its not about storage, then there is no reason for a player-based news publishing mechanic. BUT if its for some reason like "We cant spent time coding for it" and its already being told, then i am sorry to bring it up again.
If im missing some previous event that caused all of this, i sincerely apologise in advance.
I shall adress some parts for clearification on my behalf and my words.
1)Yeah i missed that part its on me.
2)I do not meant "Those guys souldnt write articles it should be us." No they spent their years on this game and has every right to write articles. And hell they are doing their job good no one can deny that. What im trying to say is what if we had another place where instead of experienced players we had genuine players who are reporting what they were withnessing. Its like having The New York Times and Twitter as news source. One is well known and comes out daily (In our cases weekly, when something really really big happens) while other brings news almost every minute. In other words, one non-official Torn news source about what important thing is happening while other is players informing each other about current events that being going on.
3)This player based news source, it can even be a subforum in here, doesnt even has to be a entire place with mechanics.
4)For having a chance of being accepted, you have to design an entire article with photos and all that (Which cases for small articles and bulletin news its either a living hell or instant removal.). With a 2. place for players to post, it removes that.
5)What breaks the will while submitting is not even being informed if its accepted or not. I mean yeah after a week if you dont see it you understand its not published but getting notificated earlier would be pretty nice.
I nontherless will keep submitting articles, planning on a detailed one after eliminations. Thanks man.
Level 20 Will be active between 1-9 hours per day Wont give spesific number for my battle stats but above 4k in total. I mean as long as it gives good gear and does OC's offen, i wont care about the rest.
I wont be useful for faction wars against teams that has fully stronger members than us, after all i cant hit them. I will be stacking for chains as long as we have xan in armory and will watch if i have time.
