The thing about RAM these days is that it is made from billions of transistors. Unless you have a lifetime of free time and a very large house, I would not recommend it. 8GB DDR4 RAM costs less than £50. Buying all those transistors will cost way more than £50. Also, that block diagram is heavily simplified. The schematic for the ATARI is quite complicated if you don't know much about electronics.
Just write out the trace table. But make sure you have a column for each variable. To make it easier draw out the array(2 dimensional) next to the trace table and put the numbers in as you step through the algorithm.
Hey. Yeah I did some android dev work in the past and for a school project. Best thing to do is to learn Java first. If you don't understand Java you will not get very far. Android is based on Java so if you learn java you will understand something about android. After getting pretty comfortable with Java start with Udacity Android beginner course as the other guys have said. If you want to pay a little bit of money I would recommend Treehouse. The courses on there are pretty good too. I am gonna start doing android development again during the summer after my university exams. So if you wanna work with me or just talk about android just give me a message.
The real question is which OCR chemistry your doing. OCR Chemistry B(Salters) or OCR chemistry A. Chemistry B was absolutely horrible. I got a C in AS level and I dropped it straight away.
