Want a bigger Nerve Bar? There are several ways to increase your maximum nerve capacity:

🔪 1. Commit Crimes

The main way to increase your natural nerve bar is by doing Crimes. As you gain Crime Experience (CE), reaching certain milestones will increase your maximum nerve by +5 at a time.

These increases are commonly referred to as your Natural Nerve Bar.

🏅 2. Spend Merits

You can spend Merits on your Nerve Bar upgrade to increase your maximum nerve by up to +10 extra points.

Joining a faction with Nerve upgrades in the Criminality branch can further increase your nerve bar.

- +1 maximum nerve per upgrade
- Up to +40 maximum nerve

🏢 4. Job & Company Specials

Certain Job and Company specials can provide additional maximum nerve:

- 🎢 5★ Amusement Park — “Unflinching” → +10 maximum nerve
- 🥩 5★ Meat Warehouse — “Carnage” → +10 maximum nerve
- 🍺 10★ Pub — “Buzzed” → +15 maximum nerve

⚡ In short

Your maximum nerve can come from Crime Experience + Merits + Faction upgrades + Job/Company specials, allowing you to build a significantly larger nerve bar than the natural base.
