EDIT AGAIN: Okay, so the day is over for me - hope you had a good Easter, so until next year! Thanks for the interest guys.
EDIT: "Right - so I've run out of eggs (aww), and as the day is nearly over: the shops are all closed to buy more! Will do the draw for the Gold Egg at 22:00 TCTime - all you need to do to enter is post, that's still going." - Hope you had a good Easter Sunday :)
You might have noticed the subtle change of 'Torn' picture in the top corner, indicating it is indeed Easter Sunday! In the absence of any massive event, I thought it would be fun to do my own little celebration, if you will.
I have a stash of Easter Eggs and other candy to give out, and all you need to do is to post something interesting and Easter based in this thread. It could be a comic, a joke, artwork - anything to immerse ourselves in the Holiday.
There will also be a lucky winner in the case of a Gold Easter egg, which will be given out randomly at the end of the day to someone that has posted.
One of the biggest problems with this is that level is a fairly meaningless metric in Torn, unlike potentially some other games where it's a key focus. Letting the whole playerbase fully interact is what an MMO is all about. The "fair fight" respect bonuses in chaining are a nudge towards balance, plus greater levelling experience for sub-level 100s. As we found recently, high powered members are possibly a bit unbalanced in warring (although imo that's more to do with the abandance of energy vs med cooldown). Plus things like temps and group attacks also go their own way to helping balance different levels of players.
Have I missed something about bot hunter victims having suffered any detriment other than having to solve a few captchas? Think of them like a Christmas Town mini-game if it helps.
It'll be also interesting to know if those getting flagged have been more likely to have extensions or similar installed. I'm au naturale baby!!
