I get the frustration. “AI-made” isn’t automatically bad, but “we replaced the entire creative process with a prompt and a marketing slogan” usually produces something with the personality of a wet cardboard box.
A solo dev who actually understands the game, makes deliberate choices, and keeps iterating still has something AI slop can’t fake: a point of view. The messy journey is usually where the good stuff comes from.
