Amazing how short some memories are, I thought it was the bankers that not only bankrupted themselves, the country and the whole effing world almost. Shout me down if I'm wrong, but isn't the Tory party the party of the bankers?

Lots of comments talking about how Greece got into this mess, very few about how to get out of it.
Whether Greece leaves or stays in the Euro is not the only issue, there is a hard road ahead for Greece, and particularly for the youngest, they have had their future robbed from them. It matters not that they should pay back the money, the fact is that they can't. So the European leaders need to figure out how they can get Greece's leaders to re-structure and re-organise the economy for future growth. The debt should be rolled into undated junk bonds repayable at some point in the distant future. If the lenders were stupid enough to lend silly money to someone who can't pay it back it is also their fault. If I lent money to someone who couldn't pay it back who's fault is that?
I'm not excusing the ridiculous policies that the Greeks have followed over the years, its just that all sides have to look forwards. not back. Don't penalise the young people, give them hope and encouragement.
