I'm thinking there's a typo in the Gym Tutorial - I did a search in the forums, but nothing came up that I could see...
Training your stats in Torn is imperative. They strongly influence your success during attacking, and a player with higher stats is more feared. There are 30 gyms in total. To unlock new gyms all you have to do is train. You'll slowly gain gym EXP which will allow you to access new and better gyms. The next gym will be available for you to join once you have the required gym EXP.
When I count the gyms, there are 4 screens of 8 gyms listed, plus the jail gym - 33 in total (32 if you don't count the jail gym).
I would love to do that, but most customers (company buying the packaging, not the end-user) are unwilling to pay for the extra Steel Rule required for ease of customer opening. Besides, it takes away from the tamper-evidence when it is made too easy to open. If it is easier for the end-user to open at home, it is also easier for the thief to open it at the store! It's a balancing act.
When I click on join for the Sports Science Lab, it reads: This gym is strictly for non-druggys only. If you are found to be taking Xanax or Extacy, you will be kicked out, and you will lose your membership with no refunds. Yet in items, it is spelled Ecstasy.

When I click to use a bottle of beer, it takes over a minute to load the page - I click "home" and it'll take about 20 seconds to show the home page (after using the beer), and my nerve is +1. If I click any link other than use the bottle of beer, the pages loads almost instantly - it is only when I click to use the beer that there is a very long load time for anything else.
Ebola must have a warm moist environment to sustain its life. This is why it is mostly found in the murky swamp like conditions of Africa. Those places which are not normally inhabited. This is why it will not transmit as an airborne pathogen without a major mutation. You have better odds of winning a major lottery than the Ebola virus undergoing a major mutation like that... and I know I have never even come close to winning anything in the lottery!
