My suggestion is to have the option to sort bazaar results by quantity.
Right now, bazaar results are limited to the 3 lowest priced bazaars for that item.
If you're trying to buy a large quantity of an item, 100 cans of X-Mass for example, you would have to buy up all of the cheapest ones to hopefully get to someone who was selling in bulk. You're taking extra risk by carrying a large amount of money on you and slowly buying them 1 by 1.
My idea would still leave the default quantity at 1, and everything would function as normal. There would be a box next to the search bar that says quantity. The buyers could enter whatever number they wish, and it would only show results that had at least that quantity, but still list them in order of price lowest-highest.
Some might argue this would cause prices to go up, but the free market will solve these issues in the long run. Traders are smart, and will figure out the sweet spot between price and quantity (i.e. they price them so they have the cheapest if someone searches by 10 or 20 or whatever). It will allow traders of all sizes to cater towards a clientele that are willing to pay a premium to buy in multiples, and allow traders that aren't as active to still turn a good profit. It would make it exponentially easier and faster to buy a large quantity of items in a hurry, which is great if you're trying to avoid mugs or have real life stuff to take care of.
The sellers that wish to cater to the buyer that wants the absolute best price will still be able to, but will eliminate the need for traders to undercut the market by $1 just to get views on their listing. The little guys are getting squeezed by the big guys. If you want to sell 1 or 2 cans, and one of the big traders comes in with 1000 cans and undercuts you by a dollar, your only option is to wait until those 1,000 cans sell or undercut their price.
This suggestion would be the best of both worlds. The small trader can sell their items quicker and for a better price, and the big trader can use their bulk selling power to attract clientele that are willing to pay a premium, thus making more profit in the long run as well.
I was a PA Lead for YEARS under the old PA system.
had the Highest CE in Monarch Chrysalis under the old system a few months ago. I was top 5 in 2 or 3 different SA factions years ago, and tops in another faction i dont remember.
Can successfully complete 7 and 8 on the new oc system.
I do stack for wars and will hit when I can. I have my own money, drugs, weapons, boosters etc, I will always save the faction boosters for those who are a lot more active.
Cons
Ill be 100% honest, I havent been very active in several years. I log in daily, sometimes a couple times a day, train, do crimes, f**k around and im gone.
Not looking for an active warring faction that needs me to be a difference maker.
I've been a subscriber now for several years, basically since the option first came out. Each month, subscribers get 31 days of donator status regardless of how many days are in the month. This equals to a week of extra donator status over 1 year. I currently have an extra 2+ months worth of donator status that I can't really do anything with.
I think a much better option would be to send the physical item Donator Pack. The subscribers would be able to use them when needed or do what they wish with them.
It would also benefit subscribers that take a break from the game. They would be much more likely to keep their subscription if they knew they'd be getting a valuable item each month in case they came back.
With the recent changes in DP prices, buying a DP in at least 3 month blocks is actually cheaper than subscribing for the same amount of time. Having a larger subscription base will ensure more consistent revenue. Having more players buy DP's at random will create high and low months and you'll lose revenue on player that go inactive for whatever reason. Subscribing should always be better than buying DP's, and other than the free chloroform or whatever, there are 0 advantages to being a subscriber.
*Edit* Subscribers have the ability to choose either to have donator days automatically credited to their account OR get a physical item. Some subscribers wouldn't want to be bothered remembering to take the dp and doesn't want to risk losing donator status if they forget.
*Edit 2* Subscribers have the ability to turn in excess donator days for a physical item in the pawn shop. This would obviously be the alternative if we can't change the subscription to a physical item.
Torn wouldn't be the same without JFK and the contributions of the dozens of legendary players that have worn the Tag. I know there are many families bigger, stronger, and more dominant now, but they absolutely raised the bar for everyone else for the better part of 2 decades.
Im sure there are plenty of haters that will yap, and make jokes, but no reasonable person can deny the impact Z_ and co have had on the game.
Congrats on the merger, wish yall the best of luck.

How much do you think you are worth at 28 days old?
Many of the upgrades factions offer ate earned through warring over months and years. Some of these upgrades cost money...is your faction using the money earned from warring to stock the armory?
Some of the biggest factions have players that donate hundreds of millions or billions of dollars worth of items. They can afford to pay for war hits because other needs are being met elsewhere.
The fact your leader has been in tbe game for 90 days is a bigger red flag for me than not getting paid.
I think there is quite a lot of overreaction, and as per usual the FIRST wave of criticism is a) the game is over b) were never going to be able to make money c) f**king ched/bogie are ruining the game AND/OR it's a conspiracy to help someone.
What is awesome is being able to sort for special weapons/armor based off of bonuses and stats. If I was shopping for a yellow macana with a specific special, I can quickly and easily find it without having to go find a bunch of traders.
I think one thing that is being overlooked is the ability to see the price AND quantity. If, for example, I'm looking to buy 200 cans, in the old system, I can ONLY see the 3 cheapest bazaar. If those first 3 options only had 1 can, I need to do that multiple times to get the amount I need.
Now I can see multiple listing's with the quantity. Maybe IM not looking for the cheapest possible price, but the convenience of buying 50-100 at a time might be worth a premium. I think this will actually benefit traders in the long run. This will keep people from constantly leap frogging each other to list their item at the lowest possible price.
The naysayers have said the same thing about every update. This is going to be the death of this game blah blah. It hasn't yet materialized, so before you jump off a bridge, maybe let's wait and see how it plays out
Why would Bogie risk everything to give an already incredibly strong faction an advantage?
What would Ched do if he could a high ranking admin abusing his power, abusing game mechanics (game mechanics he's worked endlessly to balance and create an equal opportunity environment for).
Ched himself would be risking quite a lot to allow this to happen.
I don't see a motive, I don't see a reward, I don't see a point
Everytime I click a link for a new tab, I get an error that says you are already logged in. The continue button returns to the home screen. This also happens when switching windows from the torn app to another app, every time I return to torn I get the you're already logged in error. Instead of the link I click (like a profile from the faction war menu) the tab name says citywatch-auth instead of whatever the tab should be.
