Made a"precise" calculation:

the jar is about 3.5 candy pieces wide and 5 tall

Those pieces are what? 2x1x1cm reulting in a volume of 2 cm^2
making the volume of the jar to Pi * 3.5^2 * 10 = 384
384/2 to get it in amount of candies = 192 pieces.
80% of the volume is candy, the rest is air = 192 * 0.8 = 153.6 pieces of candies :)

Answer: 153.6
