I just had a random idea for races. Not sure if it's good or whatever... just a thought, if the admin team likes it then yay. Here it is:

what if for races you could build your car from scratch and parts were dumped all over the world. Naturally the better they are the more expensive they become..expensive in ratio to TC's average money ofc.. (the average player being a billionaire :|o)

yeah and some parts become rare, and others super rare... and they pop up randomly all over the worldlike flowers

then for the races you'd have different tiers of races ofc. So like the billionaires that spent over 10 bil on their cars wouldn't bother to go in a 10,000 race. Also in synergy with the race bid to enter races you should implement the skill level (explained below). So basically to get into more expensive races you have to get up your skill level.

On the other hand now, To build your own car you'd have to take a mechanics course. To build more complex cars you'd have to complete a series of courses. Of course you could send your items to a professional mechanic, they can make the car and return it to you.
To avoid scamming, something like contracts could be implemented. So once the person has the mechanic degree there should be something that indicates it on his profile and you can start a contract with him. Failure to uphold the contract in the specified time could have the system disembody the vehicle, return the parts and maybe jail the mechanic for good measure. :P

Now when you start racing you should get a new bar somewhere that says "Racing skill" or something, this is basically another stat that you can continuously gain. Naturally the more races you win the higher your skill level becomes. Racing against players with huge difference in skill should result in negative gains or at least no gain at all.

Now to win a race the probability would entail a random coefficient, your skill level, your vehicle stats vs other competing vehicle stats etc

there should be something like a 3-6 hour cooldown period between every race or every two races so that your racing stat becomes something you have continuously do to get good at it.

Also there should be little or no penalty to racing other than the money loss...because you wanna encourage more people to get into it. But you want to avoid people whoring race stats by spamming races against lowbies so that you can work to penalize...

So lemme know what you think! I know you guys are already developing something on races, it might be great! or it might be something along these lines. Either way i hope its helpful somehow.

One love!

Also for racing stat gains: It should be like a rapid gain at first, then steady, then slow to excruciatingly slow . This way if good racers go inactive for a few weeks, totally new players can catch up with them in the time they were away.

You can host world cup racing events in torn for the various tiers of players. And naturally just par-taking in this world cup would drastically increase your skill level. Not to mention the props of winning and the other prizes etc.
