To be clear regarding the topic, EC has always struck me as weird, but that's just me coming from a country with ranked choice voting. It has its ups and downs. We've got a very splintered parliament at the moment but I think that's healthy for the moment, breaking down older party barriers to make place for new ways of thinking on policies.

The EC always looked like a way to present a legally United States since other ways would show too much of the divides and that's bad for foreign policy which most countries seem to value most in these days, not just the US.

Sorry to meddle in but I couldn't pass on this one.

As for the creepy thing of checking someone's post history. I just want to be sure of things I say or refer to, call it a habit taught by education, memory goes a bit but can be influenced easily.
I also don't know how active you are on the forums, I tend to be on 2 or 3 threads at a time so that was some judgement out of own experience whilst not knowing yours. My bad.

Then going on to compare my claim to Hoch and his ambiguous posting is not the same. There's the updates part in the forum where you'd be able to look back me quoting you, then there's also the option of checking my post history. You haven't tried replying and claim ignorance. Then go on to make a comparison to justify your ignorance.

Even with a bigot as Hoch I started off with asking about his position. Then in the same day I saw him for what he is, a bigot. Only replying to bait posts to keep the part of the conversation going where the bullshit perpetuates, ignoring posts looking deeper into how or why certain stances are accepted and others aren't.

Your actions so far have been more out of the Hoch playbook than mine. Notice how I add specific information to my claim? Go fish and play that I don't care card again man. Do so with just the thumbs down if your words have no added value. It's what most bigots do.

I think casual sex is stupid and irresponsible, so that's why I say that. I'm not so much of a prude to realize that if you are seriously considering someone for marriage then you should make sure you are compatible in the bedroom as well as outside of it prior to doing so. Sex should be with someone you are seriously considering for marriage - not for some person you swiped right on that you can raw dog in the Chilis bathroom after too many margaritas just because you had a long week at work.

That's a view I can understand he actually put effort in articulating. It's just strange to me to view limiting abortion of others as justified because a personal choice of lifestyle. I could argue that marriage is a relic of partnership and has no place in modern society. So the rules/principles around it he describes are not needed. Let's abolish marriage. We've seen forced marriages, fraud marriages for citizenship, underage marriages, tax frauds, obstruction of justice. I can find arguments to support my statement but all I'm doing is supporting my personal view. Im fine with people getting married, just without all the stuff that comes with it, it's just the bonding between people that shouldn't need such a framework it has now to regulate it all.

I can see the US having these struggles on abortion once again with their healthcare system being frail. It's just sad that people feel confident bullying the women who enjoy the freedom given by Roe v Wade. Go fight for better healthcare or pick any of the debt traps in your systems to root out. If Roe v Wade to protect individual right from the states is federal overreach, then the Bill of Rights is also federal overreach to protect individual rights from the states.

B: No that's false.
C: Yes that's true, but (fill in your motivation)
D: No that's false, but (fill in your motivation)


Pick A,B,C or D. In the cases of C and D motivation is required to be added or the answer is invalid.

Over here we have study financing from the government. Just finish your degree and it gets turned into a gift, if you drop out and don't get a degree within 10 years of the start of your first attempt it becomes a debt.

You just try to shift your inability to learn and pick a direction where you'll move ahead in life to a dead end where you've never looked.

If the way of financial support for studies is different in the UK that's tough luck for you.

The initial cost of buying a house is high, any of them can maintain the mortgage after that. Some saved a lot to do that not going for holidays and such. Others prefer to travel and are fine with renting. It's more a matter of choice, which doesn't apply in your case I'm guessing.
