Hey, just ran into this issue with recruit status that I believe needs to be reworked. The problem is with recruits not being able to add to the score during a Ranked War, but the enemy faction can add to theirs by attacking recruits. I understand the 3 day wait for perks, but if a recruit can bleed score to the opposite side, why can that recruit not in turn earn score for their side? I don't care if a recruit earns respect for outside hits or not, but if they are in an active war and hitting war targets it should be counted. Having perks yet or not. I just made 15 war hits for zero respect, while they got all the respect for beating me added to their score. Joined the faction before even being matched, but still on recruit status for the first few hours of the war.
My suggestion would be to make recruits either full participants or complete non participants if they are in an active ranked war. Or if that is too hard to code make the time from being matched to the war starting 72 hours to completely avoid all of this. IMO the current system is swayed in favor of the faction with the least amount of recruits. Pretty sure to ever have members in your faction you will need them to be a day one when they join. That's just how it works. Punishing people and factions as a whole in a very lucrative system seems kind of wrong no? I couldn't care less to have perks or be able to earn respect hitting randos, but let me war or just prevent me from being farmed.
