How it all started


So, a group of factions (Vinerri and friends) decided to remove one other group of factions (SMTH and friends) from a particular hood on the map. So far, no biggy. Business as usual. The first group was rather big in numbers and planned a simultaneous attack at many fronts to overpower and overwhelm the enemy. Is this shameful? If you say so. You can also look at it differently. The first group (I will now call them 'we' as I have a particular affiliation with them) knew the other group was and is extremely strong and skilled. So, we figured we needed quite a lot and quite some organization to tackle this 'Chinese Elephant'. It might be a sign that the first group is in fact highly respected and we did not want to underestimate this particular enemy. Plan worked well. Like a charm. The TT's were conquered quickly.


The Panda strikes back


Then the enemy launched a very smart PR campaign. Not fighting back yet but stacking (as we knew ofc) but publicly shaming the dirty schemer behind this, which would be me. While they didn't fight back, they started to draw the pitycard whining over how unfair gangbanging is and how peaceful they all are (not) but the crucial element was accusing me of stealing and scheming. I borrowed 4 TT's off one of them earlier and decided to not give them back. Why, because I knew we were gonna take all their TTs anyways a bit later so why bother. Besides, on their original faction page there were always entire passages bout selling passthrough and they asked ransom for lending out TTs. But they didn't ask me for ransom. Weird. Was a mistake by Silver Hands GoodLuck who now has been demoted. They know and knew all too well you can't trust people here on Torn just because of their sparkling blue eyes. Just made a mistake. I took advantage. Boohoo. Knowing we would take it all anyways soon.

Here we all first witnessed how clever and tactical the opponents are. But it gets better. They soon dropped their masque of being peaceful, innocent honeybirds and started to fight and wave around with death threats. Obviously. We expected nothing less and knew they would, in fact we respect their fighting spirit highly. Anticipated on it from scratch. They decided to call in an even bigger friend. MMCP. A faction that is known for being against bullying. One could say, a faction full of white knights.

Now this faction was all too happy to assist SMTH ofc because they dislike Vinerri. They raided us before and tried to extort us when we were fighting another war they had nothing to do with (against ID and Covenant and Lingering Insanity if I'm not mistaken). Seemingly having no objections to gangbanging back then, but hey...morals tend to be fluid.


MMCP joins the dance


We successfully fought MMCP off raiding us earlier using the burner faction technique. As described in this newspaper article: https://www.torn.com/newspaper.php#!/articles/1936

They didn't like that article. Since they are a little proud, who isn't? Was to be expected and we in fact already expected a raid by MMCP. Especially since the game rules changed. It’s much harder to defend against a raid from a strong faction using burner factions now as there is this 3 days of recruit status now back and forth. Also raids no longer have any cooldown periods of 90 days.

So, they decided this was a perfect opportunity to not only get back at Vinerri, but doing so carrying the 'white knight' costume publicly. Smart. Behind the scenes they started threatening factions that belong to our group. Topping off the death threats from SMTH with threats of being destroyed by an everlasting MMCP raid. And it worked. The weaker of heart and less committed factions stopped fighting on our side as they were scared to death. Well played my worthy opponents, well played.

Now do you hear us complain that the rules are changed? Think not. Did you hear us complain the enemy brought in MMCP? Think not. We have to deal with it. That’s how the game works. If you want to win, you have to bring in extra firepower. The fight in the hood is looking pretty good now with SMTH trying to bet back in and fighting like lions truly. Vinerri and SMTH raid each other and that goes great. Several factions here working together to turn this hood - our hood - into the enemies very own Stalingrad. Interesting fight.

While I do wonder why SMTH didn't call us out for a 1 versus 1 if they are so dedicated to the honorable route, obviously I am not in the position to condemn the fact that they use the same strategy against us we started off with - overwhelm the enemy. If they want to defeat us while MMCP is on our back, up to them.


Game On


MMCP then. Yes, you wanted to teach us a lesson of dignity (the irony) and get back at us (primarily this ofc). Ok, lesson well noted. MMCP is a stronger faction than Vinerri. Surprising. Ok, we fought you off earlier and waved our willies around celebrating it. You have now had your chance to settle the score, to make your point and we feel the point is taken. However, your one-trick-pony in charge Nemesis (his trick being raiding/threatening obviously - opposed to bullying as he is) posted this in one of the many whine threads over Vinerri the opponents started recently.

Nemesis: 'MMCP is not interested in any territory near the area this took place so our only involvement will be a non-stop constant raid on Vinerri.'

Well, if that is the case. What have we got to lose then hey? Not that negotiating is an option with an opponent that demands a public apology and all their territories back. That's obviously not an option. We have conquered them, within the game rules. Maybe complain again bout those rules, might work.

So, we have to get you off our backs in another way I guess. Let's play a little game Nemesis. A game about pride. Don't complain it was me doing something bad thereafter as I offer you a choice. Don't explain to me it's dumb as it would hurt my faction, remember your quote. We are already gonna be raided nonstop. Plus, if you come back at us again, which we would expect, who says we have or can afford only one little bombie? Heck we could even go around and do a 'fund the bomb-on-MMMMCP-a-thon-thon'. Will be funny, brighten things up a little. Don't start whining about taking losses and being a true leader in the best interest of our members, our members love this little game. Just play the game. Let us call it a game of Tic Tok.

We both are proud people Nemesis. We both care about how others view us and do not like to give in or having to take the knee publicly. Who of us is haunted by Pride the most tho? You? Or would it be me? Are you so proud, you will allow it to hurt your faction and your members interests severely? Are you so proud you will trigger the bomb on you or your friends yourself? Knowing you a little, you probably are. Let's find out and play this little game.

Both SMTH and MMCP are raiding us as you can see in the picture and on our faction page. First who reaches 60k as their raid score triggers a Dirty Bomb. Will it be on the one who triggers it? Possibly. Will it be thrown immediately? Possible, but not very likely as you trigger it but I myself will detonate it. That it flies is certain though on the moment YOU decide to trigger it. Are you proud enough?
