hello together,

purpose of my thread is just to inform people, how torn is working these days, to avoid mistakes what i did..

- to my story:
i wanted to sell my company. as i was afraid of mug, i decided to sell it to system. first i checked, that nobody from employees is online, that nobody can warn some mugger. i told nobody, not even friends that im going to seil it at current time..
after selling, was planing to store money to faction. then i was thinking, that so or so one day i have to take that money with me if i want to store them in caymans. as nobody knew i have money and i was traveling more times there with never been attacked, decided to go.
I was really prepared by end of traveling time, imediatelly pressed recaptcha, pressed offshore banking button and ... mugged
really no chance, that somebody could refresh page, see i just landed and attack ..

i really dont want to whine, i was mugged, in that case (for sure im angry etc. but .. this is my problem, my stupidity) i was more wondering, how this could happen.

after consulting with some people, now i understand that there is a script warning some people, who sell company to system - so really this means, risk to sell to other players is lower like selling to system
also there is a script (confirmed by bogie that its legal) that shows people, who is traveling to cayman. then they just open your profile, most probably know even when you land and just mug you. sure they are faster, they dont need recaptcha, not even press "offshore banking". they immediatelly after landing just attack.

there are for sure a lot more interesting scripts what i currently have no idea exist. they are even legal ...
This makes really big disadvantage for players, that are not programmes, or even have no friends programming. Torn is now really getting game of programmers..? People, who just mug randomly, have really no chance to get that wealth as people using those scripts.

One of examples: Pops - average daily mug is 1b (no its not for buy-mug protection)

Again - nothing against people doing it, its legal ... so why not ..?
From my point of view really what is said, Torn is game of programmers now ..
Time for changing of game style - looking now for right people, right friends, right scripts, not making money with stupid crimes, bounties, mugs for 1m etc ...

also check now, script muggers are making 1-5b daily after new stock was released... luck? sure...

the system is simple .. you need to make more weekly money like higher stats companies.

so if you are the best in your stars rank, and the worst of higher star rank has less, you take his place. Here does not need to be top1, but first X companies of your rank will take place of X worst of better star rank.

Im not sure if it is still also second trigger, there was before also some time trigger, so you had to just wait for some months ..

 

but anyway, weekly income is priority what you need to keep. And also this is just from 5* i think

 

in your company now i see you are 1*, there are no 2* ... just time trigger (dont remember how it was ... maybe 2-5 weeks)

what i see here is a lot of ideas of those who will never be affected.
If that DB would be so strong as many here suggest, then by big wars like was island war .. 3-4 DBs at the beginning would make game over of it.
so where would be then competitiveness and fun?

i think you can not lose them, failing will not remove your collection

now i had opposite.
was quessing password - 2x unsuccesfully and third attempt was ok.
it shows just:
06:57:12 - 27/03/24 You successfully guessed a character of a password in Cracking
nothing else, also that red dots are not there, so looks like i quessed it at first time. no mention about missed attempt even in logs.

uniques are good for spending some nerve .. after you got all to skill 100... what then?
there is no interesting crime here .. im pretty sure many people have already problem with it, so as i do .. so now back to uniques, even if they are for nothing

if you think someone is using bot, you can report it.
but in reality, for sure mercs are faster then you are, they do hit more in a day like you in a month (not mean it bad way against you, it is just a fact).

also keeps deleting and also not saving till new page is not loaded

it gave it back, dint make new log, also both cans are at 94% again ...

hmm sorry wrong description of problem
they disappeared from crimes.
most probably as area reputation have been reduced, what should be ok. also cans have been removed (what im not sure if it is ok)

i used 3 different cans 1x .. had 94% on all 3
now 2 cans have been lost .. didnt do anything with the crime ..

i dont want to open new report .. but can then that can unequip ?
i just lost 2/3 cans on that crime with 94% full

good job both sides ...
both factions were amazing, both big organizations were doing great and long lasting job.

im using MP5 Navy with 11% revitalize - from around 40 attacks 1 revitize occured?
7 days back - every 2-18 hits was one .. what looks totally different..

is it just bad luck? or some problem is with that?
